well rivers dominated manning when he actually had time to make plays and had some decent targets to throw to, so i wouldn't say its too far fetched that rivers could continue to beat him regularly next year or the year after that, especially with manning's physical ability that will inevitably be declining by then.

based on what exactly? rivers is like 5 or 6 years younger than manning. unless you agree with beagle and think rivers is already done in the NFL?

You really think Rivers is gonna dominate us while Peyton Mannings our QB? Even if Philip had good blocking we have a much more talented team then the Chargers.

The enlarged is absolutely hilarious, you need to take those powder blue glasses off
so you disagree that rivers dominated your team up until this year? scoreboard tells another story, but lets not let facts get in the way, right?

also, in a year or two manning is most definitely not going to be the same guy he is today physically, he is at thta age where his physical ability is going to decline fast, that's human nature and happens to every single QB.

rivers was able to beat manning head to head just fine before when the chargers had a good team with good blocking, i don't see why he couldn't in a couple years when manning is at the end of his career.

When did Rivers dominate Manning at anything? Did they mud wrassel in the bayou or something? lol

Rivers dominated the Indy Defense. As long as Rivers can't dominate our Defense, I like our chances, regardless of who we have at QB, lest we forget you guys losing to us last year with Tebow at the helm

using that logic, i guess head coaches never win or lose any games either? since they never actually play the games? head to head rivers did dominate the colts overall when manning was the QB and i see no reason to believe that if the chargers get their stuff back together and give rivers more time to make plays, that he cannot continue to give manning and the broncos problems in the future.

also, rivers didn't always dominate the colts defense either, manning just played poorly sometimes when he faced the chargers for whatever reason.

right now rivers and the chargers offense isn't dominating anybody except KC lol

don't act like its some accomplishment that the chargers haven't done well against your defense this year, we seen what happened last week against a formidable defense when rivers has time to make throws.

And if "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas

Fact of the matter is, Rivers hasn't done much against us in nigh on 3 years now, and holding onto what you did against Indy 4 or 5 years ago isn't going to do you much good when you're a few years from getting your act together in the first place lol

No because the game is like chess to coaches, the best strategy and counter strategy made with the pieces that each has at their disposal wins. In other words a win is very much based on coaching decisions. QB's dont go head to head its not a matter of outwitting eachother, most of the time its about the brains of the D, for the Chargers I suppose this was Stephen Cooper or more precisely Clinton Hart (who were the heart of the D when you last beat Manning).

Manning will still sign a 1-day contract with Indy.

lol this is ridiculous, do i need to use another analogy? what about track? swimming? or any non contact sport? just because they are not on the field together at the same time physically playing against each other does not mean they are not competing head to head.

if manning cannot score more points than another QB head to head then he got beat by that team which includes that teams QB. not saying rivers alone dominated manning, rivers is not and never has been as good as a QB as manning.

So? And an even bigger question is what if he doesn't?does that matter any more than if he did? No...

Please tell us how many good strong playoff teams you beat this year?
All three of them you got convincingly throttled (ATL, HOU, NE)
Baltimore will be a good matchup for Denver but still are a beatable team.
Look at your schedule and the teams you beat so far. Denver can probably win out the rest and get home field in the first round. You will most likely face again one of the three teams you lost to so I highly doubt Denver will win in the playoffs especially in the 2nd round (if your lucky enough to make it that far).

Sorry Denver fans. There is no Super Bowl for you this year and no AFCCG.

You were saying what about our schedule? Like I said before we beat baltimore, we're one of the best in the NFL and this win just proves it.
We've beat 4 playoff teams this year. We just smoked the Ravens in their house. Anyone else you need us to beat?
Have fun in Loserville though lol
And sorry your argument sucks bro

Yeah but in the mean time sorry we had to beat you guys like that in your house.
I pray we get you in the playoffs lmao

Your argument would have some merit if say one swimmer was swimming in a pool of water, and another in a pool of syrup. lol

Swimmers swim in the same pool. Sprinters run on the same track. QB's play against 11 entirely different people, with a different coach calling plays. If they played against the same Defense, then maybe MAYBE you would have a point. But as usual, your point sucks lol

Rivers has never dominated Manning at anything. Period, end of discussion. As I said, until Rivers can beat our Defense, who we have at QB is largely irrelevant. Like this point you're trying to make in futility.

just because they are not on the field together at the same time physically playing against each other does not mean they are not competing head to head.
Uh, yes, it does. By definition it does QB's do not ever go head to head. Football is a team sport (in case you were wondering lol) This is not a good argument. Sorry.
