Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I know where Spanos lives here in Stockton and went to high school with his grandson. Maybe I could convince him that AJ and Norv did a great job, and the only reason that the Chargers have been terrible this season is because of bad luck. I could explain that this season is an anomaly and point out how dominant the Chargers have been in the past.
I could also point out that San Diego hasn't made the playoffs since they got rid of LT and convince Spanos that he needs to coax Tomlinson out of retirement to play for the Chargers again. I will tell Spanos that, obviously, the last time the Chargers made the playoffs, Norv was their coach, so he clearly isn't the problem.
and what would that prove? other than how fragile Mathews is.
It wouldn't prove anything really. Just extremely funny.
Matthews was suppose to have his break out season this year, Chargers fans were looking for him to break big runs and score touchdowns. But all he really did was break down and only get in the end zone once.

a lot of that is because he fumbles in the red zone and the chargers didn't trust him in that regard. i am sure it is funny for you guys, there is a long list of issues the chargers have that i bet is quite hilarious to rival fans right now.
I still think we could compete...So long and Norv AND AJ are gone. Gaither's contract scares me. There are a lot of "dead" money players floating around that roster these days.

With Ryan Matthews breaking his clavicle today, there is a very good chance Jacob Hester will end the year with more rushing touchdowns.
Considering I've seen just how much Hester sucks over the past few years, THAT is saying something. How does that kid only have 1 TD? Breakout year people, breakout year... *kicks cat*

Guys, I have a plan.

My plan could totally work.
It probably would, the only way you can get to this point is to be committed to delusions of grandeur and have a hard line stance against ever possibly entertaining the idea of "reality."

talk about going two opposite directions with the broncos? rivers 4 fumbles, nothing else for me to really say besides freaking brutal!
Baph, between *Newtown* and this team...I'm rooting for the Mayan Armageddon here in a few days.
You're right. Being a classmate of someone's grandson would hold no merit in my credibility to them. Even with credibility, I could never convince someone that Norv was doing a good job as a head coach. Such a task is impossible. Damn, I could've sworn my plan was solid. All it took was someone with an outside perspective to spot the holes in my scheme.
LOL I remember when everyone was saying he was a top 5 fantasy pick.
A guy I been playing in a league with for 19 years drafted him second over all and we all laughed and laughed at him. He said it would be the biggest steal since I took Rod Smith in the third round in 96 and did my i know something you don't know dance in all their faces.
It is a keeper league and Rod wore it out for me for a good 12 years. I told that fool the difference is 3rd round on a powerful educated hunch and the second over all pick and an injury plagued player with a pass happy coach and a bad o-line.

are you talking career or right now? because i don't see how you can say manning is top 5 even healthy.dude will never be a top 5 QB again, he is done.

Your right you were proven wrong about Mathews a long time ago, but the fact that with the exception of Charles both McGahee and Moreno are averaging more yards per game then any other RB in the West, despite the fact weve been called one dimensional is hilarious. While SD has the worst ypc in the AFC.
