  • So.. is EVERYTHING about San Diego a joke? Their team, their franchise.. Their mods?

The San Diego Chargers are the utter joke of the NFL. Their entire franchise is almost completely worthless. Their team, coaches, front office... ownership is all completely ridiculous. Even some of their fans. Yes I say some. There are many I do respect; even the occasional posters on here. So I keep them exempt from this smack.

I smack on San Diego hard but i've always held their fans to the highest respect. Even on their forums I show nothing but un bias opinion and fair word. I also respect their rules. Granted AJ Smith is a human being and shouldn't be called a clown.. but check out what a Charger Mod on a power trip looks like...

    Dear Denver Mike,

You have received an infraction at The Official San Diego Chargers Forum.

    Reason: Inappropriate Language

McCoy may lead this team to victory but it wont be all on his behalf. A really tough OC, a new GM who can get you guys an O-line.. will put you 10x as better as you are today. major success around here was firing your last GM.. total clown.

Everyone knows the Chargers forum is a joke. Nothing new since it's always been like that.

LOL!!! well AJ does still get paid so he is kind of right, even though he is definitely not a current employee.

that is a head scratcher, even for that place.

but as far as your point about the chargers being the joke of the NFL, i can think of multiple franchises that are worse actually.

just because the chargers want to run their official forums like it is Nazi Germany doesn't mean much, some of you guys wonder why i spend my time posing here and not there.....now you know.

True. I would say as a franchise the Jets are making a nice run at being the best joke of the league. Would have been better if they acutally went after J. Russ lol

        Adopted Broncos:
        (2011-2013) Eric Decker
        (2014-2018) Bradley Roby
        (2019-Current) Drew Lock
        Adopted posters:

I do agree.. Biggest joke was kinda a stretch, I was still getting over the fact that they've got my IP address on serious probo for dissing on a former staff member whom was hating by his own fans anyway ...

The Jets are coming very close.. With of course Arizona being there as well

lol...that place is a joke....its not so much the fans there, they do have their fair share of uppity crybaby fans who cannot grasp the meaning of smack....good smack to them means ripping on a team or poster who isnt there....but its the over sensitive sniveling homer mods who kill the place

the other day i looked at the smack and they were crying about no bronco fans there to harrase about getting beat by the ravens, not considering most of us gave up or are banned, and then talking crap about me like i was scared to show up there....i was banned the final time a year ago when the broncos beat the steelers....for a post almost a week old, that simply said a certain mod who thinks good smack is...hee haw hee haw donkies suck...needs to mature

they got some good posters, the mods kill the place

I've experienced the same. They'll ban ya for the simplest negative comment.

you have done a lot of complaining about that place over the years but this post is pretty much spot on. that place is good for information and articles about chargers football but for smack talking? just don't even bother going there, even for us chargers fans.

That place is actually my LAST stop when it comes to Chargers talk. Don't get me wrong, there are a few posters that would be valued in any forum but the place is a gulag for "yes men." A place where the truth is routinely hunted down, stuffed, and mounted on the wall for posterity.

For instance, on that board you will find people that will argue FOR Ryan Leaf.

Looks like they learned a lot from AJ Smith, meaning how to destroy something that might have been a good thing...

One place that Ive always enjoyed for smack is the raiders forums, although I havent been there in a long while it was always so easy to get those guys all revved up and emotional... (all three members)

AN DIEGO (AP) -- The NFL Players Association wants the San Diego Chargers to replace team doctor David Chao, who lost a malpractice lawsuit last summer and is facing an attempt to have his medical license suspended or revoked.

NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith said at a pre-Super Bowl news conference Thursday that Chao's troubles are an example of why the union wants the NFL to set up a system to verify the credentials of all team medical personnel.

"The players of the National Football League deserve to have a doctor that's not been found liable of malpractice. And that's within the last year, by the way," Smith said.

According to online records, the Medical Board of California is seeking to revoke Chao's license and has referred the case to the state attorney general for possible charges. A complaint alleges gross negligence, repeated negligent acts and failure to maintain adequate and accurate medical records.

Online records also show Chao was found liable of malpractice last summer in a case involving a regular patient, not a Chargers player. Records also show he has been publicly reprimanded by the board and pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.

In 2010, Chao was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration for writing at least 108 drug prescriptions to himself, which violated controlled-substance regulations. However, an attorney for a pharmaceutical company that filled the prescriptions said the drugs provided to the Chargers were for use by the team's medical staff to treat players.

A Chargers spokesman said the team had no comment. Neither Chao nor his attorney responded to requests for comment.

                          Ya'l are gonna think I'm a jerk for closing this one, but there's a reason;

Typically in the past I've seen previous mods not allow the bashing of other team sites on these boards. That is the key here, it's a different teams's site. How they run it and how they operate is different and independant of how we do things here. In light of that.. I am going to close this discussion.
