It doesn't matter what his playoff stats are, he has on his record 8 appearances where he was one-and-done hence dubbed as the "one and done choke artist of all time" regardless of who's fault it was. This is the baggage you get as a QB, plain and simple.

Consider Marty when he was our coach. Everyone of you cry babies whined about him and then said ah ha, see, he's a choker indeed. Why? Look at his history. That dude has a whole bunch of 0-1 chokeoff appearances on his record. Does Marty get a free pass if one says well, uh duh.....he wasn't playing so he has nothing to do with the chokes", he's just the uh duh head coach". Coaches and QB's get tagged for the win-losses, not the players. This is football 101, obviously you are clueless to this fact. Even the great John Elway said that a QB is known and will go down in history by his wins-losses (nothing more, nothing less). Stats nobody really cares about once you retire and the sunsets on your NFL QB career.

The fact is, the Denver Broncos haven't done squat didly in the playoffs since Elway retired, even with what most consider your "2nd Best QB on the Roster of all time" with a bunch of talent surrounding him all over the place, even more than the 2005 roster as so spoken in many donkey circles. Still he CHOKED again and so the all the rest in between.

You have to ask yourself if he got the team that far with all that talent around him (and yes you donkeys said over and over how talented your roster was up and down, backwards and forwards) with no injuries and all guns blazing and choked themselves out of the playoffs how in the world do they think they can go any further than that with Manning under center every again while he's going down hill in his old age? Welcome back to reality.

Most of your Marty/QB comparison is invalid. They dont have an equal amount of power on the team. You cant compare players and HCs. HCs have FAR more impact on a team than a QB does and HCs are FAR more responsible for wins and losses than a QB. Is a player able to bring in his own system to any team and install it like a coach? No. Does a QB make starting decisions for his team? No. Does a QB make draft and FA decisions? No. Does a QB work with the GM at player evaluation? No. Does a QB hire asst. coaches? No. Does a QB run practices? No. This is Football 101, which you are ignorant of.

sorry, didn't most of you donko fans play the "wait and see" card when you guys drafted tim tebow? i would give "mancry" a much much better chance to succeed in the NFL than tebow, that is for damn sure.

First , I didn't want Tim , but I embraced him and hoped for the best. Second i am not sure if you wanted man cry or not but you had bigger fish to fry , and wasted a high pick on low round character.

Yes he can tackle at least in college against college wrs and rbs , but he fades in the spot light and he really isnt that fast for a guy with so much hype , nor does he deliver crushing blows often. He will fill a void and maybe even be an improvement slightly over spikes but he's just way over rated. And if you club was willing to take on a guy with a character issue they should have made a move through trade or something to scoop up Ogletree.

We will see how he does chasing Mc Fadden ,Charles, that he will be seeing often. And how he does against our run game and Manning's adjustments . Hes walking into a hornets nest.

You know when you were pumping them up to be the biggest baddest collection of talent the afc west has ever seen? See it was easy for charger fans to front like they were to be the next king esp while we ha been knocked down to our lowest. I liken the chargers and their fans to a wanna be up and coming fighter who hasn't tasted success yet but almost reach it. Tebow wasn't a bust , now he wasn't a success either , but he got us too the playoffs somehow , kept us in the media 24-7 , didn't cost much and we did get a 4th and 6th round pick for tebow and our 7th (if I remember correctly).

Man cry will do similar for you. Media attention wise ... but he wasn't a top 5 pick ever in my mind , not even 1st round , Notre dame was one of the most over rated teams in history last year and are always given more attention and hype. Brady Quinn is a great example of Notre dames hype machine. 4 teams in 7 years and no real resume to speak of.

Man cry is average , maybe slightly (ever so slighlty ) above average. But you could have done better and when your teams on the brink of falling off completely in the west ... kc made moves , bold ones this off season , no doubt In my mind they are second best right now in the west , or will be by seasons end ...chargers needed more than man cry...
