  • Question: Why Does Peyton Manning Always Choke in the Playoffs? (click for answer)

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...n-the-playoffs

    :thumb: Nice Going Manning.

eight 0-1 choke job appearances did the trick with the 8th still as raw as can be in the minds of those who dwell in Dove Valley.

Now, what does the future look like for the Denver Broncos with .450 QB playoff loser (that is even if they happen to get back there again) hmmmmm

No matter which way you scratch it up, whether or not all the blame is to be pinned on Manning for every single 0-1 playoff choke one can help but seeing him through the playoff choking lens with this many 0-1 choke jobs under his belt. How can any denver fan look in the mirror and be in denial about their QB's historical choke job record in the playoffs is mind boggling.

Donkey Trivia: Who was the last QB to win a playoff game in Denver?
Donkey Hint: Its not John Elway

I guess you forgot to read the article before bringing it to the Talkin' Smack section.

In his research, Kacsmar found that Manning has been historically unlucky in the eight losses. Factors outside his control have played as much, if not more, of a role in the early playoff exits as Manning's perceived "choker" performances.

Maybe you can come up with something better next time.

We'll have to find out. We'll have another sample in the next playoffs (which the Chargers will watch from home for the fourth straight year).

I read the article entirely before posting it. Doesn't change the facts. The author posted 1 guys excuse making as to why Manning has so many 0-1 playoff appearances. It' would be the same as a Denver fan digging up excuses as to why Elway was the bonified playoff choker in the Superbowl prior to 96-97. When a QB has this many 0-1 playoff appearances tagged to his name one cannot help but to say "there he goes again, choking in the playoffs with yet his 8th career one and done appearance".

Funny now that Manning is your QB the excusing digging is acceptable. Excuse making and hypocritcal flip flopping is normal by many Denver smack talking fans of this board. It's been going on ever since Elway retired.

God forbid anyone should make any excuses for Rivers playoff exits and the reasons why.

Classic! A bolt-fan has to plagiarize someone else's article, because he cant think for himself. Classic Dolt-fan stupidity.

There's plenty of blame to go around when any team loses.

Does any QB play defense, kick FGs, coach the whole game or ref games? No. And that statement destroys this entire thread.

                      Relax mctrod,
Nobody is plagiarizing the article. He stated the obvious and gave someone else's excuses he dug up, doesn't change the facts. What exactly don't you get about why Manning is tagged as a playoff choker, regardless as to all the excuses one can dig up for so many 0-1 playoff appearances? If Manning was not your QB no Denver fan would have any problem calling him a bonified 0-1 choke artist.

Dont forget half of 'Lips playoff appearances have ended as one and done as well. This despite having a roster with multiple HOF skill position players, multiple all pro defensive support, and an o-line with multiple pro bowlers. Remember- 'Lip stepped into a good situation, Manning turned a poor team into playoff worthy.

So wait anyone who doesn't win a ring is a choker ? You mention ELWAYS getting a pass as a playoff choker cause he got his rings , but don't you have too win more playoff games than you lose to make it to the Superbowl in the first place ? I am confused as to your definition of choke , because from what I can tell to you it means simply that you didn't win a ring , please give me your definition , so I can further destroy your weak broken record crap slinging dolt party
