....In fact every statistical number we see when talking about the season so far...because they mean nothing going into next week?

I mean the fact the bolts have given up a ton of yards and points in the first two weeks really don't mean anything, there may...I mean there isn't a issue with the defense , by golly their a stout unit that can shut down anybody ...they simply acting easy...right?

or could you look at it an say...we need to shore up the passing defense?

nobody is saying because after week two the bolts are the worst defense in the league and will totally stay there are they?...no were saying so far the bolt defense leaks yards and points like a sieve leaks water
again, i didn't say the stats don't count, did i? right now (at least for me) its a game by game performance analysis, not judging by statistical rankings.

some people do run to the stat rankings sheet after one game and pretend it means anything, i just think those people are either ignorant or it makes their team look better than they are because their QB threw 7 TD's in the first game.

i am not new to this, i see what you guys are trying to pull and you got called out for it, simple as that.

by the way, i knew far before the season started that our secondary was gonna struggle big time this year, especially if the pass rush isn't above average.

right now its just average at best. IMO

      ohhh waaaa

      not even close

case in point ....S/b mentioned the raiders are tied for the lead in sacks with 9...looks good

but look at the stats from the teams they played ...they got 5 of the nine from the jags who have already given up 11 sacks ...their on pace to yield a aweful lot of sacks....the colts have yielded 7 already....so is the raider pass rush a force?...or by the stats ....or have they just played a couple teams with pass protection issues

        THANK YOU!!!!!

that is exactly my point, that is why you don't consider statistical rankings after just one or two games, i knew you would get it eventually, GOOD JOB!!!

once you play 4, 5, and at least 6 games, the statistical rankings start settling in and then they become more relevant IMO <--- that means in my opinion, just so you know and there is no more confusion

I always take stats with a grain of salt...how many times have I said " there are 3 kinds of lies"..
              lies
              damn lies
              and statistics.
To many to count I assure you.

Seems when the stats favored the Chargers you were real quick to use them with no if ands or buts. Now that they don't you say they don't matter. Some are extremely relevant to wins and losses I assure you.
Some misinterpret the actual facts. Our passing defense is much better than the numbers show while our Rushing defensive isnt nearly as good as the numbers show and for the same reason. We have had teams way behind early in the second half..No More running we need to get back in this game throw throw throw....at the same time both those stats show show that we have played really well.I think the stats for the Chargers are relevant to how they have played(2 close games) and who they have played.

ive already explained it to you in full detail man lol

ask yourself this, what started this debate? could it be that thread which was made after the first game discussing stat rankings??

again, what is the point of even talking about stats rankings like being 1st in the league in scoring or 3rd in the league in yards (for example)

that right there is suggesting you are talking about the season as a whole, not stats from a single game or situation.

if you want to talk about the stats from an individual performance i have no problem with that, but once you bring in the rankings, that's not what you are doing at all, is it?

that is why stat rankings are pointless and dumb after just one or two games and that is why i say stat rankings is a season long deal or at the very least over the course of 5 or 6 games so you at least have a larger sample size and not just games against one or two opponents.

you acted like you understood before but i guess you still don't, color me surprised!

butt hurt about what exactly? in denial about what? LOL

am i saying its a mirage and the broncos don't have a good offense? am i saying the chargers don't have issues with their secondary?

more importantly, am i saying rivers is back after just two games??

are you saying i am in denial and stat rankings actually are relevant after just one game? even though you contradicted yourself by basically agreeing with me without even knowing it?

you guys are obviously really confused, you want to just look at the stat rankings after one game because it makes your team look like the best team ever assembled, that makes much more sense than what i am saying if you are a delusional donkey homer, i am sure!

The pass defense hasn't been that bad.

Flacco threw 62 times, Eli near 50 times.

Throw that much, you give up a lot of yards.

                        The more impressive stat?

Giants were 1-11 on 3rd downs, that's impressive.
