The only thing more homer I have read in the last year was some Raider fan crying about Tom Flores not being in the HOF ..Last edited by Beagle; 09-22-2013, 03:36 AM.Originally posted by baphametare you talking career or right now? because i don't see how you can say manning is top 5 even healthy.dude will never be a top 5 QB again, he is done.

Even with the 10 years of futility of never having a record over .500, he's still had more overall success than the Broncos.
No need to mention what he's done for the league, here's a couple of his accomplishments on his Raider watch in comparison to the Broncos.... including his last 10 years of basically every season being a 4-12'r
-More SB wins
-Better winning %(Should've caught up by then right?)
-More playoff wins, better playoff record
-Put in more HOFers
How about that head to head match?
59-44
All your argument consists of is making fun of his goofy attire and other meaningless things... funny thing is I'm not that big a fan of his like many of my fellow Raider fans, but denying his legacy is a huge failLast edited by RaiderFanSD; 09-22-2013, 05:18 AM.

I don't deny the great things Davis did(Like the merger or the TV contracts Being an assistant a HC a GM and an Owner) but I also don't forget the crap he pulled or give him credit for other peoples accomplishments (like Maddens Superbowl or Flores Superbowls).. You don't hear Broncos fans giving Pat Bowlen Credit for our Superbowl wins because he doesn't inject himself into the spot light like Davis did..as a Matter of fact when he was thrust into the spotlight his first words were "This ones for John!" Niners fans don't scream about how awesome an owner Eddie Debartilo was( He won more Championships than Al). Al put himself forward and Raiders fan try and make him bigger than the game.He wasn't, isn't and never will be. But he sure was good for some laughs over the years.:thumb:
As far as trying tot take credit for things he never did the only comparable owner in the history of the League is Jerry Jones Congratulations on that i guess.
You can Revere the man if you wish but ever time I hear Al Davis i choose to giggle at an egotistical man who dressed and acted like a fool more than he didn't.Last edited by Beagle; 09-22-2013, 12:38 PM.Originally posted by baphametare you talking career or right now? because i don't see how you can say manning is top 5 even healthy.dude will never be a top 5 QB again, he is done.

Bad news for the state of California. The Supreme Court will force the state to release something like 46,000 convicts because of prison overcrowding. But the good news: it looks like the Oakland Raiders will have more season ticket holders! -Jay Lenosigpic

NFL Rush Zone (TV Show) has one of these goofy looking mascots for all 32 teams. Really hope they don't replace all NFL mascots with these things!!
Heard today on ESPN radio (STL) the Raiders are now front runners to move to L.A., and the Davis family is hurting for money and could sell the team. If so NFL wants to change the team name and colors due to the gang problem in L.A., changing much like the Houston Oilers became Tennessee Titans.sigpicWhat Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger
