Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

If it wasn't for our defense… the score would have been 31-14 so I don't think it worked that well… but say what you will….
Sophia, when you are playing with a lead you play differently than when you play from behind. If our D hadn't scored the TD and gotten us a short field, we likely would have played differently. But that wasn't the case. We were up 24 points at the half.
Feel free to look through the annals of history, and check the win-loss record of teams that ended games with 280 yards rushing. lol
A series of unfortunate events combined with offensive miscues lead to a loss in that game.
Hindsight is always 20/20. If that ball doesn't hit carter, and we kick a FG and win, the talk would be about how dominant our run game was.

My point from about two posts prior was when that lead became diminished… it's time to work more at moving the chains than eating up the clock…. I'm sure I'm wrong I'm just a fan, not someone claiming to know the history of football.

And when that time came, we did throw the ball. Incomplete passes, and one TD later, we were in overtime. I don't know where the miscommunication is coming from.

You're right, I did have my doubts. I also had many Bronco fans, in real life, talking insane amounts of trash to me about this game. And for some STRANGE reason they all ignored me/disappeared right after the final whistle blew. So, out of pure curiosity, I decided to check out the internet and see how much butt hurt there was. I was just going to lurk, honestly. But then I came across comments from BoobZilla here, saying how the only reason the Patriots ever won anything at all was because of sheer luck or cheating. So I felt compelled to sign up and throw my 2 cents in, and laugh at his immense butt hurt.
