His stats were atrocious. To reiterate - his D was responsible for that championship.
He has a better QB Rating than Brady in the playoffs, keep on trolling.

Whats last year got to do with anything, Welker who had 13 catches, 138 yards, 1 TD isnt walking through that door, at least not for NE.

Wilfork/Mayo are both out, who played.

Gronk didnt do much either when we played so by your logic he wont help.

Denver will get their yards and their points for sure. No one is denying that. But it won't be as easy as it has been for you up to this point. I just don't see your defense doing much to stop Brady considering that our rookie WRs are improving each week and Gronk will be playing. Maybe Vereen too.

Your best bet is attacking us with Julius Thomas.
One of Welker, Decker, Thomas of the receivers if they are healthy will have a big game.

Easier said than done to slow down, Wes.

We have faced the likes of Cruz, Nicks, Torrey Smith, Desean Jackson, Dez, Blackmon, etc.

NE has no one on that level as a receiver.

The rookie receivers will be good but not like any are elite level receivers the way you make it seem they are.

They will get a lot of catches but you act like Brady will hang 400 yards, and 7 TD's.

Both Brady/Manning will have good games, may even come down to who has the ball last.

Regards to the defense, this is the closest we've been at full strength all year, so its hard to say right now.

Your team is going to lose to the J.E .T .S.
          Jets jets jets!
So quit making up threads that dont matter. This yr brady has a better defense and Peyton is playing better. And dont bring up Peytons receivers you already confirmed Talib will lock all 4 down at once and tackle knowshon for a loss!

Who cares about QB rating? Brady has 7 game winning drives in the playoffs and Manning has only 1. Which is why it's asinine to say that the D solely won those SBs for Brady. Without Brady's clutch play when it mattered most, we never would have won.

Of note, Brady also gave us the lead with under 2 or 3 minutes to play in both SB losses to the Giants, but the D failed to hold it. He was clutch in both those games and gave us a very good shot to win.

I'm sure I also don't have to state that Brady holds the record for most playoff wins, including a trip to the SB with the 31st ranked defense.

You're really going to complain about the defense when the Patriots only put up 14 and 17 points in those Super Bowls?

Our WRs don't have to be stars for us to win. Brady proved he can win with just about anybody. Unlike Manning who needs a lineup of elite receivers.

That's what people said the first time we played the Jets.

You mean when you played them in New England with Mayo, Wilfork, and Talib?

Yes. The Giants' D played well in both their SB runs. They beat some pretty elite QBs - Brady, Rogers, etc. The fact is that Brady led NE to the lead in the closing minutes and the defense choked.

Last year it took OT to beat them at home. Then we destroyed them in NY. Remember the butt fumble game? Of course you do - everyone does.

Talib practiced today btw. He may play.

sounds like what happens to manning all the time. So there is your proof that manning didn't have the help of the d the patriots did.

That isn't true at all. A lot of his losses (like last year's INT in OT) were due to his own play.

But he had the Broncos up and the defense choked or is that excuse only valid for Brady?

Yep I remember the butt fumble good point! That was Mark Sanchez and Wilfork was probably throwing the guard into Sanchez.
But Sanchez and Wilfork wont be playing.
And THIS YEAR it took 3 Geno Smith int's for the Pats to win! Geno is playing better
But im glad to see your worried about this week. Don't worry about the Denver New England game it will be here soon enough we can go back and forth all week.
