For a physical game like football, neck surgeries are one you just didnt know about, i wasnt sure either, but it was probably worth the risk.

Anyone who has watched Rivers this year knows he's not "done" or knows a damn thing about football would know he isnt done. Beagle and Apo wont admit they are wrong, maybe they will someday.

He's up there with PM, Brady, and Rodgers for sure.

Same with PM, a shoulder injury albeit not as old as Manning was, you still had to wonder bif he could comeback.

my comments are as i said based off baps posts...where he has callled cutler a loser even with a probowl.season ...4000 yards.....it didnt matter because the broncos had a poor record...therfor cutler was a bad qb....now...its differant because rivers has yards and below .500

i made a thread back when you had cutler which i know you remember, where i made a formula to compare rivers and cutler that included stats, situational performance, and winning.

just because i say QB's are judged by winning (which they are) does not mean that is the only means to judge them by.

when the broncos win manning gets credit for winning or dominating those games, when he looses he gets blame, same goes for rivers or any QB, especially QB's that are the leaders of their team like rivers and manning are.

I have a hard time respecting a guys opinion who thought Eddie royal was the kind of player to name yourself after on a forum.Then you say signing Manning was "probably" worth the risk to sign..strike two.. Rivers up there with PM Brady and Rodgers? with those TD Numbers? hahaha Strike three

signing manning was only worth the risk for you because you had garbage before that. there was a lot of doubt he could play at a high level anymore, i know you are going to pretend that's not true and deny it but you know that it is, if you follow the NFL i mean.

There were plenty of doctors who made a statement that the surgery had a high percent rate of success, granted noone thought held be at the level hes at but hes always been a qb that relied more on his mind and ball placement then strength.

As for having nothing we were in position in the draft to get several QB's like Foles or Wilson who I wanted, (I still dont trust Brock). Granted it wouldnt have been a here and now move but a move to develop into a good team that could have worked well.

i don't disagree, i just didn't think he was a top 5 elite QB anymore like so many others did.
