Not as much as Wilson was when he demolished and humiliated your team

Of course it was they needed this win to stay in it, we had already clinched our spot and played like we didnt really care coming out the gate

it was bigger for us but you are still trying to secure home field, don't act like it didn't matter to you at all.

the pats now control the #1 seed if they win out, not the broncos.

Thats how they played and thats how they acted before the game, they had short practices this week and didnt seemed worried about this game. It was a classic trap, NE without Gronk in Miami might be harder then they think so it might not be as bad as it looks for us though with this loss you know Brady is going to be chomping at the bit

You may not think this game was all that important but in the end it might just come back to haunt you.
Your team had the golden opportunity to slam shut the playoff crack in our window last night but utterly failed.
As I said before the game the chargers match up really nice vs the Broncos and last night was proof that home field advantage doesn't mean squat in Denver.
Sorry Denver Haters...I've been on an extended business trip....:thumb:

Except historically we do have one of the best homefield advantages in the NFL (5th all time), and SD not so much. We have the easiest schedule in football left, and NE has 2 very lose-able games. Besides homefield advantage in the playoffs is overrated its rare for the 1st seed to make the SB let alone win it.

The truth is we played terribly and unprepared for that game and I didnt say the game didnt matter I said they played that way. Your team may have a good offense but you rarely score TD's and your D had holes in the secondary even slightly more so then we did. as a matchup we were a better team at most positions. Though our team has not paced itself as well as the Chargers have and weve been beaten up fairly badly as you start getting healthy, our coaching staff doesnt rotate well because we lack depth at major key positions though it should not have impacted the game as much as it did.

Our lack of depth on the D-line especially against the run was pathetic, with Vickerson out we cant spread our LB's out as much which allows for easy runs to the outside and Ayers being hurt and Wolfe out causes issues on the edge. Phillips lacks run D as we were waned about as does Malik and Sylvester Williams
