*rolls eyes*
Peyton Manning is my favorite active non-Seahawks QB in the league, and I'm on record numerous times over the years on Seahawks.net as saying that if the Patriots had drafted him instead of Brady, he'd have like seven rings by now. I hate the Broncos stemming from our AFC West days, but I love Peyton Manning.Comment

Yes Dr OZ. VON only tore his acl ( ligament on the outer side of the knee) he had no other damage to his knee our new strong safety ward bent your boy Gronks knee in half. Gronk has damage to the inner ligament (mcl) and acl. Thought it would be understood but your desperate for any argument your sorry team can get.sigpicComment

To expect Von to be ready week 1 and Gronk to miss time is not accurate. Same surgery date same surgery. Obviously team approach and individual recovery is different, but it is ludicrous to state one will be ready and the other one will not.Comment

MCL is not as serious of an injury. From my understanding, in most cases the MCL heals on its own; that is why Gronk had to wait four weeks before having the ACL operated on. Surgery is surgery. Both had it on January 9th even though Miller tore his a month after Gronk.

If you saw both injury VON tweaked his knee got up and ran off the field ( slight ACL tear). GRONK had his leg blown out and had to be carted off. But think what you want. Von is on record that he's ahead of schedule with week 1 as his goal. Groom is on record saying he will not rush back due to his bad experience with his previous recoveries. I BET YOU CPS Vons back before Gronk.
Gronk's injury (mid-November): Complete ACL Tear and MCL Tear: Waited until January for MCL to heal fully, had surgery January 9th.
Miller's injury (mid-December): Complete ACL Tear. Had surgery Jan 9th.
It doesn't matter how the injury happened. Both had complete ACL tears. Gronk's MCL is irrelevant because it had healed by the time surgery was performed. Both had surgery on January 9th.Comment

Given Manning's post-season record of accomplishment with the Colts, and then two straight years of disappointing and mind-blowing playoff performances with the Broncos, I would think any half-witted person might begin to question, or at least wonder a bit about, Peyton's proclivity towards what I will, for the sake of civility, refer to as "stage fright" in the biggest of games.
But, no....not everyone sees, or is willing to embrace, this obvious, documented and irrefutable fact of life! That, in and of itself, is almost as much of an enigma as Manning's inability to carry over his regular season production into the post season.
8-8 to 8-6, frankly both are chokers lately lol.
In before the Brady fanboys say its never Brady's fault.Comment

Both reported as Grade 3 sprains of the ACLComment

Is that why when Manning missed the year, they won 2 freaking games, yet NE won 11 games when Brady was out.
Brady has always had the superior team, coach, roster, FO for most of their careers and its not even close.
Better OL's by far, better running game, superior defenses, better coach other than weapons which isnt a huge gap the last few years.
So barely better weapons equals better teams, ROFL.
More excuses for Brady, what else is new?Comment

What realities are those? In both SBs Brady has lost, the pats have had the lead with under 3 minutes to go in the game only to have the defense give up 80 yard drives for touchdowns to lose the game.
The real reason Peyton doesn't win in the playoffs: he throws too many interceptions. That's it. And it's also why he wouldn't win in New England or anywhere else.
If Brady was drafted by the Colts, they would have a lot more rings than one!
But thats not Brady's fault, is it?
Never his fault despite being 8-8 since 06.Comment

Yeah, you're right, how could I possibly draw a correlation with the then most prolific offense of all time being held to a fraction of what they scored during the regular season and losing in humiliating fashion, where they were the clear favorites, and won all of the rest of their games quite convincingly, to what happened to us last year
Sorry dude. No team in history had as much pressure on them to finish off a season the way the Patriots did, and they fell flat on their face. Brady LAUGHED at the idea that they would be held to under 20 points. Well who's laughing now? lol
Sorry dude. Going 18-1 is the DEFINITION of choke job. What happened to the Broncos in the Super Bowl was humiliating, without question. 18-1 still has it beat. Bar-none. You may not have been beaten as soundly, but being so close to perfection, only to come up short at the last minute is much more painful.
But what am I saying? You know this. That's why you got a little bristly at the topic being brought up and immediately went defensive
18-1 is the biggest choke in pro sports, hands down, not even close.
If NE won that game, Brady is probably the GOAT.
Now he's a big-game loser, at least lately, although the Brady fanboys will keep making excuses for him.Comment
