Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

There will be people who don't like Manning for the same reason they don't like Brady, because they have been the 2 best QB's over the last ten years.
Personally I find it quite sad there are haters. I have always had great respect for Manning even before he joined Denver. He does a great deal of charity, has QB camps set up for kids and invests his own time in the off-season to them, he seems a genuine person and is a like-able guy. A top professional that doesn't shoot his mouth off, get into trouble, and he reaches out to all his rookies even if they went undrafted.
I have great respect for all the top QB's inclusing Brady, Rodgers, Bree's and Rivers. Don't have any reason to dislike them.
The QB's I'm not too fond of are Newton, Wilson, and K Nick, but thats nothing personal.... I just don't like running QB's and think they ride the coat-tails of the D
If I HAD to pick one QB as someone I liked the least it would probably be K Nick (and I used to be a fan of his). He is way too loud and cocky for someone who posts mediocre stats and didn't take a step forward this season even though the 49'ers gave him a top D, running game, and surrounded him with plenty of weapons in the passing game
