Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Google does things based on top links and searches, which makes it more reliable then Yahoo in terms of what people search, on google this isnt even a top 10 search for Why is Peyton Manning where as "called the sheriff" is.
In fact most fans were rooting for us 2nd to there own teams in ESPN and NFL.com polls in wanting us to win because of Manning being a class act and deserving another SB to finally get rid of the doubters. The only people that hate Manning are jealous hes not there QB (because they have a crappier one), Huge Tebow fans, or bronco haters in general but even the latter has some cheering the Broncos because of Manning

Yeah....Tho I've never understood how a person could go so ga-ga over a team or player that they lose all reason and perspective.
I don't either, but they do. I love the teams I follow. They are mostly from my youth when I played organized sports. Still it is a game and that's all it is at the end of the day.

You'll just have to learn with the fact that not everybody is as sweet on Paidaton as the fans of his current team.
You wouldn't believe how many Colts' fans turned on him as he was headed out the door in Indy!
If you had ever been to indy you wouldn't..worst place I have ever been as an opposing fan, and I grew up in the bay area and attended many games in Oakland... They are idiots from the bottom to the top of the stadium with very few exceptions.. I think I would have more fun in Seattle and wish my one trip there had been during season. 1987 spent a week in Tacoma. Took the train home to Davis California beast trip of my life..

Well till the last 2 years of Elways career people would of put Elway in the same category as Fran Tarkenton right below where Manning is today. Still only 1 other QB has taken 2 teams to the SB and won it once before and thats Kurt Warner. If all we did was count wins Bradshaw would be up there with Elway
