Near come backs against the 49'ers in 2012, and the come back against Denver (and all the other come backs in 2013) aren't that unheard of here. They happen pretty frequently for New England when we're down, and I've just learned not to lose faith.

That said, last years AFC Championship game was the first time I just shut the TV off.
When Brady over shot Edelman I just had a feeling it over, and then when Talib got knocked out of the game I just shut the television off and left the house.

I had never done that before, sticking through far larger point deficits, in my living room or in the rain, with a lot of confidence we would turn it around, but in the AFC Championship I just knew fumes weren't going to carry us past Denver in their own stadium and it was just over.

Denver lost Vickerson who had a sack and tackle for loss in the first half before leaving the game with a hip injury and DRC was shutting off one side of the field until he was lost in the final seconds of the first half with a shoulder injury.

The Indy game, Denvers defense played well, the offense had 3 turnovers inside the Colts 30 and a safety that resulted in 19 of the 39 pts.
Last I checked that same Colts team beat the 49ers on the road 27-7 & beat the leagues #1 defense & Champion Seahawks 34-28.
      lol.

You say you're going to remind us how many points Brady scored against Denver and then leave out all the points he scored against Denver.

This is what I was talking about earlier with Denver fans always spewing ignorance and nonsense, bragging about games they lost in embarrassing fashion with "arguments" that don't even make sense.

Our offense was moving the ball fine against you, but helmets knocked out some fumbles and you got a nice strip sack to keep NE from capitalizing on the drives.

In the 2nd half we wasted you.

Almost all your points came from your defense getting breaks. Our offense marched all over you, like they always do.

When the game ended, we won, and you lost, and Peyton and your offense looked pathetic. Peyton had one nice drive in five whole quarters of football.

You won one anomaly game with key pieces of our team missing.

Next year it'll be back to the usual, which is NE roflstomping you, and twenty bucks says you'll be saying "Ya but what happened in the AFCCG!?"

      Nobody is scared of Denver.

In fact, watch how different even bad teams play you this year after your pathetic Superbowl performance.

You think everyone is terrified of your team when you're the joke of the National Football League.

I was responding to him saying our defense gave up 34 to New England when we were healthy but that wasn't the case the Pats forced turnovers and Denver lost two key players in Vickerson and DRC allowing Brady to lead the comeback.

And yet all you do is bring up the game in foxborough. You beat us once and we beat you once so whats your point? Both our teams were decimated by injuries. You act like the Patsies were the only team last year dealing with key injuries.

Brady has a pretty distinguished history now of owning your defense and your defensive coordinator. He smashed you in Mile High the year of Tebowmania, then he buried you with record setting post season numbers after you beat the Steelers. Our 2012 no huddle rush attack smashed on you so hard you copied it and incorporated it into your own offense for 2013, and then you came to the Razor last year, got spotted 24 points with a flukey first half defined by fumbles for TD's and other things you shouldn't expect to count on, then Brady blew you away in the second half anyway.

Then you beat us one time in the AFCCG with most of our play makers not on the field.

And now you're the kings of the AFC?

            Don't count on it man.

It was your defense you were bragging about. Tebow doesn't play defense.
Want me to bring up Brady's staggering numbers against your D over the last few seasons?
At this time last season NE had like 130 points against your D in just THREE games.

Thats also when you all had a healthy gronk, Welker and hernandez. Your O is not nearly as good as it was back then. All im saying is with all our healthy players coming back plus the players we added our D will be much improved as what anyone saw last year. I wasnt even talking about 2012 so dont even know where that came from.

Funny, Brady is 5-7 all time vs the Denver Broncos, inc 1-1 in the playoffs...hardly a 'distinguished history'.

You chowds are nothing if not entertaining.

                    • I just don't know what world you guys think you live in where Denver are the supreme world beaters. You limped passed an injury devastated New England team with 80% of it's defensive stars not on the field, and a New England team with no offensive options due to injury.

You then moved on from that glorious victory and set the word record for inspiring more "LOL"'s than anyone on twitter in Superbowl history since the dawn of social media.

It takes a little more than that

Apparently you missed where I said "recent" history and just decided to change the debate to something that benefits your trash talking. Yes, Denver is the one team in the NFL that HISTORICALLY has given the Brady/BB era Patriots problems, and HISTORICALLY New England hasn't played its best football in Mile High stadium.

Now if you look at RELEVANT history, as in the last three football seasons, it's been massacre after massacre.

No. 1, we were EVERY bit, if not more, injured than you were...No. 2, we totally destroyed your running attack and held you scoreless for almost a full three quarters...No. 3 We also had over 500 yards of total offense, so your defense never really stopped us....so what's changed? Your pass rush is still VERY average, and coverage alone with Revis Island is not enough to stop Peyton. You have to put pressure on him, and Ryan Clady will shut down Chandler Jones, and beyond that, you don't have much.

I think we had a mental block we had to get over with the Patriots, as we had lost four games in a row against them. But we finally broke through, and now I think we will hammer you.

I truthfully don't know if your boys are better than the Jets. They have the better defense right now, and Buffalo has three d-linemen in the top 100 players. Miami has also have players on defense. You could say the Patriots front seven on defense is the worst in the AFC East.

Why are Bronco fans so confident? Because we just don't see your boys as that good. In the past, you ALWAYS got fat on a (very) weak AFC East, but I don't think you get away with that this season.
