In all the years that Brady and Belichick have been together, I have never, ever stopped watching a game, and stopped believing they could come back. A lot of the time, this has been rewarding for me because they do just that. When I go to Patriot games I don't leave, no matter what, until the clock hits triple zeroes.

Near come backs against the 49'ers in 2012, and the come back against Denver (and all the other come backs in 2013) aren't that unheard of here. They happen pretty frequently for New England when we're down, and I've just learned not to lose faith.

That said, last years AFC Championship game was the first time I just shut the TV off.
When Brady over shot Edelman I just had a feeling it over, and then when Talib got knocked out of the game I just shut the television off and left the house.

I had never done that before, sticking through far larger point deficits, in my living room or in the rain, with a lot of confidence we would turn it around, but in the AFC Championship I just knew fumes weren't going to carry us past Denver in their own stadium and it was just over.

Denver lost Vickerson who had a sack and tackle for loss in the first half before leaving the game with a hip injury and DRC was shutting off one side of the field until he was lost in the final seconds of the first half with a shoulder injury.

The Indy game, Denvers defense played well, the offense had 3 turnovers inside the Colts 30 and a safety that resulted in 19 of the 39 pts.
Last I checked that same Colts team beat the 49ers on the road 27-7 & beat the leagues #1 defense & Champion Seahawks 34-28.

Yes, Denver is the one team in the NFL that HISTORICALLY has given the Brady/BB era Patriots problems, and HISTORICALLY New England hasn't played its best football in Mile High stadium.

Now if you look at RELEVANT history, as in the last three football seasons, it's been massacre after massacre.

It takes a little more than that

No. 1, we were EVERY bit, if not more, injured than you were...No. 2, we totally destroyed your running attack and held you scoreless for almost a full three quarters...No. 3 We also had over 500 yards of total offense, so your defense never really stopped us....so what's changed? Your pass rush is still VERY average, and coverage alone with Revis Island is not enough to stop Peyton. You have to put pressure on him, and Ryan Clady will shut down Chandler Jones, and beyond that, you don't have much.

I think we had a mental block we had to get over with the Patriots, as we had lost four games in a row against them. But we finally broke through, and now I think we will hammer you.

I truthfully don't know if your boys are better than the Jets. They have the better defense right now, and Buffalo has three d-linemen in the top 100 players. Miami has also have players on defense. You could say the Patriots front seven on defense is the worst in the AFC East.

Why are Bronco fans so confident? Because we just don't see your boys as that good. In the past, you ALWAYS got fat on a (very) weak AFC East, but I don't think you get away with that this season.
