You're not getting it. You're missing the point entirely.

If New England beat a Seattle Seahawk's team that was missing Sherman, Harvin, Kam, etc, I wouldn't spend the off season bragging about how we're better than the Seahawks. Maybe it's just because the Patriots are such a successful organization, I don't need to grasp at straws to pretend and indulge in delusions of grandeur to get my kicks in while i can.

I'd take the win and move on, knowing it has absolutely no bearing on what the game is going to look like the next time we play them when they're all there.

I guess Denver is just so desperate for validation and a seat at the big boy's table, they'll take whatever they can get.

    • Yeah, a trend of the Broncos winning the last one, when it counted the most

Actually 1-3 all time, we beat them in the 1986 playoffs too, if memory serves

So let me get this straight. Von Miller whos one of the best defenders in the Nfl, Clady who is a top 3 LT, Harris whos a top slot corner and Moore who was having a great year before going down. So a denver team missing those players vs a Denver team with them is basically the same team. Is that what you are trying to say?

Den and NE were both hurt.

Using the injury excuse is stupid.

Both teams had lots of key guys out so it goes both ways.

Denver's D that game: Phillips, TK, Sly, Jackson, Lenon, Trev, Irving, Duke, Adams, Champ, DRC, Carter (NCB)

Honestly pretty pathetic Brady was crap vs that defense.

7 players on Den wont play this year.

              NE's D that game:

i'll take out Talib since he was out early.

Nink, Siliga, Jones, Jones, Hightower, Collins, McCourty, Gregory, Dennard, Arrington, Ryan.

Other than the DT's and Gregory, NE had lots of key parts still in, Den did not, so you are wrong yet again.

              Check mate.

You then moved on from that glorious victory and set the word record for inspiring more "LOL"'s than anyone on twitter in Superbowl history since the dawn of social media.

It takes a little more than that
                80%?

Still had Collins, McCourty, Gregory, Nink, Jones, Hightower Dennard, Ryan, Arrington.

All of them minus Gregory will play key roles this year, no?

Definately not 80% but keep making the excuses, it's cute.

And Den won the AFC, added some key parts and gets alot of key players back, so i dont see why you think it's so crazy to think Den is the AFC favorites whether it's by alot or a little.

It wouldn't have made a difference in the Super Bowl. If players on both NE and Denver were healthy, we would have seen an absolute war in the AFCCG like we did in November 2013 where one team won by a few points. Denver probably would have won at home.
I dont exactly disagree with you here.

But the point is NE fans act like they were the only team with injuries.

Like i already said, no one but SF was taking out Sea last season.

You say you're going to remind us how many points Brady scored against Denver and then leave out all the points he scored against Denver.

This is what I was talking about earlier with Denver fans always spewing ignorance and nonsense, bragging about games they lost in embarrassing fashion with "arguments" that don't even make sense.

Our offense was moving the ball fine against you, but helmets knocked out some fumbles and you got a nice strip sack to keep NE from capitalizing on the drives.

In the 2nd half we wasted you.

Almost all your points came from your defense getting breaks. Our offense marched all over you, like they always do.

When the game ended, we won, and you lost, and Peyton and your offense looked pathetic. Peyton had one nice drive in five whole quarters of football.

You won one anomaly game with key pieces of our team missing.

Next year it'll be back to the usual, which is NE roflstomping you, and twenty bucks says you'll be saying "Ya but what happened in the AFCCG!?"

                    Nobody is scared of Denver.

In fact, watch how different even bad teams play you this year after your pathetic Superbowl performance.

You think everyone is terrified of your team when you're the joke of the National Football League.
It was 20-3 after three quarters but sure they limped vs NE alright.

Den is better defensively than last year and has lots of players coming back.

Dont care about the rest but you're the one on another teams message board, but ok guy.

SO maybe you're the scared one?

Denver lost Vickerson who had a sack and tackle for loss in the first half before leaving the game with a hip injury and DRC was shutting off one side of the field until he was lost in the final seconds of the first half with a shoulder injury.

The Indy game, Denvers defense played well, the offense had 3 turnovers inside the Colts 30 and a safety that resulted in 19 of the 39 pts.
Last I checked that same Colts team beat the 49ers on the road 27-7 & beat the leagues #1 defense & Champion Seahawks 34-28.
What's your excuse for the Dallas game? No von miller? He by himself would have prevented an average team like Dallas from scoring 48 points? What about the first week of the regular season when you gave up 27 points to baltimore? Quit making excuses for your 19th ranked defense. You are what you are - an average D, who got marginally better with miller coming back. Perhaps good enough to be a top 15 D this year.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The only reason the pats beat them, according to them, was because of their injuries. The fact they scored 21 points in the first half had nothing to do with the gift turnovers we gave them.

Baltimore got a couple garbage-time TD's. One of their TD's came from a muffed punt by Welker, at the 1-2 yd line which is a gimmie score if you get 3-4 tries.

A lot of teams did last year on Denver.

Dallas game was awful no one will say otherwise, but Romo was incredible that game.

Denver was top 5 in D, 2 years ago with worse talent but surely they'll be lucky to finish in the Top 15 this year.

Yeah, as I said, it would have been a very very tight game with both sides healthy.

Kaepernick wasn't taking out Seattle - he isn't a clutch QB.

Woulda probably been like the Sea/SF game, epic game.

Kap isnt bad, no but their overall team might have.

Sea is a tough matchup for him because they can play tight coverage, force him to make tough, contested catches into tight lanes.

                                Big, physical OL.

                                Great defense.

                                Strong run game.

Although Kap missed a wide open Patton or Boldin wide open instead of throwing it to Crab.
