Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Everywhere over the last couple months. Even up to the start of the game. They lose a pre-season game and all of the sudden they're quiet?
That's kind of sad. Don't worry guys, Pre-season doesn't matter. You can keep making yourselves look like complete idiots for another couple months until we play again. THEN you can go and hide

What are you talking about? Are you really crowing about a poorly played pre season game? Really?
It's no surprise. Football fans do this every year. Talk a lot of trash, brag, and gloat leading up to a preseason game, then when that team loses, all of a sudden preseason games don't matter.
You SeaChicks can lie and say otherwise, but leading up to the game last night, you all were on this forum talking up your team, talking up this game, and saying Denver better be ready to get embarrassed again.
Denver won and now the Seachick fans are quiet as if it was a regular season game. But it's fine, they'll be even more silent when their team goes back to the bottom seller of the NFC in a couple years. As the self proclaimed best fan base in sports have only been vocal fans since 2012.
Maybe that's what the Mayans predicted. Not the end of the world, but flood of bandwagon fans.
