I'm not too big on Manziel either. I was sick of hearing about him all the time, and that's why I hoped Hoyer would have a great season. He did at first, but after the last few weeks, they could do better.

Manziel's a good athlete, but that doesn't always translate to a good NFL QB. At best, he's another RGIII, but that isn't very good either.

I heard the announcement this morning so I wish you well on your hiatus. I feel the exact same way, as you, about Manziel. I hate the Browns franchise went that way. There are lots of sports to enjoy until JM flames out, which is what I expect to happen. Hopefully, we see you back this way, once your team finds its way from Manziel. I would like to see Cleveland fix their problems and have a better team that makes the playoffs.

I've always been a Brees fan, I would have loved for Denver to have picked him up. Especially in hindsight. Rivers, nah, you can keep him.

well rivers wasn't available for you to pick him up but i find it hard to believe you wouldn't want rivers over any QB you have had on your roster since then not named manning.

by the way, i don't blame the broncos or any other team for passing on brees at the time due to the serious injury he had to his throwing shoulder. i just like to mention how the broncos passed on him when broncos fans try to bash the chargers for letting him go.

Why's that? Rivers is a very good QB. He used to light us up all the time. The only Chargers player that lit us up more than he did was LT. If he became a FA right now or in the offseason, he'd have such a huge market. If we needed a QB and he was available, I'd be fine with him.

in other news, that may have been the chargers last home game in san diego. after seeing all that orange in the stands, i hope they do move to LA, i honestly do.
