Really, so you would have moved Vasquez to RT at the beginning of the year, running wasnt as much an after thought as it was not doing well

In the first 2 games we had just as many attempts as you did, but our rushing attack as so pathetic and we had injuries too the majority of our backs going into the season it began to get pushed aside. Especially since Green was injured against the Seahawks. Though once we got Hillman back healthy and Green was slowly getting healthier that changed and we began averaging more yards per game then you did. It took a while to find the set of lineman they felt best with

yes he would have, and he would have started Cj day one also, you see baprod is a football expert and every thing the broncos did to establish a run game he woulda did in training camp cause he knows football

after all he warned us his bolt offense was more talented than the broncos, with better backs by far, better depth at wr, better tes and a better oline and that's worked out wonderfully

Chris Clark had a shot at RT. Paul Cornick had a shot at RT. Manny and Louie slid to the right to bring in Montgomery. That's the way line shuffles go. Now both Centers are lined up next to each other which makes unbalanced a possibility without a special personnel package.

Ball had appendicitis in TC and has had muscle problems in that area since. Hillman played and got hurt. CJ has made the most of his opportunity. Juwan was in the rotation all along.

Here we are at the end of the season with a viable rushing attack.

I find it laughable that there are self proclaimed "highly knowledgeable football people" in this world that have the amazing ability to see things that are so blatantly obvious to the average moron and for some weird reason(s) Mr. Elway just can't see them. Really!!!

Please point out any GM of any pro football team in history where EVERY team member they acquired via draft, free agency, walk-on, etc. turned out to be a stellar, diamond in the rough, effective producer wherever used athlete with no criminal history.

There is no such thing as a perfect anything in this world. But striving for perfection usually pays gratuitous dividends when you refuse to settle for less. Let's see....11-3...HOF QB...AFC Western Division Champions 4 years in a row.

          Not perfect but pretty good!

The Denver Broncos organization is extremely fortunate to have John Elway running his part of Denver Bronco Nation!

            Von
            Rahim
            Franklin
            Irving

            Wolfe
            Osweiler
            Hillman

            Sly Williams
            Ball
            Webster

            Roby
            Latimer
            Schofield

Elway has been... terrible in the first 3 rounds. Von is the only impact player that has been taken in in the first 3 rounds by Elway, and Von was #2 overall. He better be an impact player there.

Elway has been excellent in late rounds and in UDFA. But holy hell, you have to do better than that early in the draft.

Honestly the move of Vasquez outside and the frustration with Green staying healthy leading to Cornick playing TE probably shocked them by the success. When both Cornick and Clark got hurt for a bit in game and Clark was moved out it wasnt quite as successful but we have found a set that works.

The fact we had times where we were relying on JT to block because of Greens injuries says how bad they were trying to find a situation that works.
