LOL You are not going to beat New England with Brock Osweiller at quarterback against that defense... especially if Jamie Collins is back... they were able to give Peyton a hard time and bait him into mistakes in 2014 before he became washed up what do you think they will do to Brock?Originally posted by baphametare you talking career or right now? because i don't see how you can say manning is top 5 even healthy.dude will never be a top 5 QB again, he is done.Comment

What happened in 2001 has little relevance to what happened this year. I would argue what happened in the first part of the season has little relevance to what happens in the playoffs. New England has lost in Miami 8 times since Brady took over, 3 of those times they won the Super Bowl, which means 5 times they didn't. Why was this week like those 3 and not the other 5? Because that's the narrative you want to believe.
Chowds want to believe that getting all of their guys back will all of a sudden make them a super team, it won't, talent wise they'll be brought up to about the level of the other playoff teams. However no team is going into the playoffs colder than the Pats and the guys missing haven't been getting game reps, and the guys playing who would be beside them, aren't getting reps beside them. An offense needs 11 guys all working together, and doing their jobs in order to make that play a success, you need reps together to make it crisp and get the timing just right, and you need game reps in order to get it perfect. There's only so much you can do in practice to simulate it. It'll be easer for the skill guys, but for the o-line it's going to be a challenge.
The Pats might win the Super Bowl, but it's going to be a massive uphill battle, and frankly I think it's just as likely, if not more so, that they lose in their first playoff game.Comment

Maybe, maybe not. But unlike when Brady cheated the Broncos owner never accepted the punishment passed along thereby acknowledging the guilt. Why did Kraft agree to pay the fine and lose the picks? He knew they were guilty, he didn't get the indignation until after they refused to lower Brady's punishment, then all of a sudden it became about how suspensions of guilty players are always lowered when they appeal.Comment
