Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I read Jones was using synthetic weed, what a dumb, dumb individual. That stuff is killing people across the country!
It seems to be now what bath salts were a few years ago. Back then it was people eating the faces of other people while naked on highway off ramps. Now it's football players being hospitalized after doing things like jumping out hotel windows.
I know this is the smack section but if C. Jones was taking a substance
that doesn't necessarily help him on the field e.g marijuana, molly, mushrooms, etc.
then I don't think he should be sanctioned by the league.
All I know is that if I were a professional athlete and my body was my main
source of income I wouldn't fill it with junk.
I'll end here because it's dinner time and my double cheese burger with
cheese fries and diet coke is calling my name! (not really)

The NFL is the Jones' employer, as the employer they have the right to discipline their employees. I'm sure that if your employer found out that you were using drugs, whether it "helped" you in your job functions or not then they would discipline you as well?
Even in states where it is legal to smoke pot, such as Colorado, Washington etc. your employer still has the authority to discipline you for substance abuse.
