Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

i'm not one to defend eli because i petty much hate his guts but that dude always has that dumb lifeless look on his face. i find it very hard to believe he isn't happy for his brother, but it does look bad.
maybe when he drinks he has that stupid look permanently attacked to his face? who knows.
Situation dictated the dumb face. It was still subject to a potential review. I think he had his head in the game and was waiting for it to be official before he started celebrating.
I mean come on, it's his big brother. You'd have to be an ass hat to not be happy.
And yeah, he always looks like the kid that ate his boogers and has peanut butter and jelly stuck to his face. lol
A couple have said it, but yes, Eli was happy for his brother. Those who think otherwise are just stupid or have terrible relationships with their own siblings.
Is it just me or does Archie Manning always seem upset when he speaks about Peyton and the Broncos. I remember the AZ Superbowl when Eli made a crazy pass and Peyton was up in the booth showing how proud he was of his brother. Seeing Eli last night, I wondered at first if it was that he wasn't happy for his brother, then I kinda wondered if there is more to the situation, because their dad always sounds a bit upset when he says that he don't know if Peyton will retire, but he won't be back with broncos. Maybe it has to do with Brock playing an extra game when Peyton was healthy, I personally think it was what was right for the team and not all about Peyton beating that last record of Favre's.

I agree with you. There are many games I hold my celebration in until I'm certain it's a valid celebration. I believe he was extremely nervous and didn't want to get his hopes up just to see his bro disappointed later.
Yea I'm with they he was just really into the game, not something against Manning. Plus Eli always looks like he has no idea where he is and he needs help finding his parents.
