  • Patsy's vs Broncos game by game comparison

Since you guys like to hoard and pollute the snack section of our forum I thought it would be fun to have a Patsys versus Broncos game by game comparison thread.

Right now the Broncos are 1 and 0 and look pretty darn good last night.

Lets see how well the patriots fare against the Arizona Cardinals.

No excuses Tom Brady did it to himself, he went out and got himself suspended so now he's not playing and there's no excuses to be made because remember Denvers hall of fame QB retired and we are now playing with a second year quarterback who looked very poised and pretty good last night against the defending NFC champion defense.

If new eng_laugh loses on Sunday night, there will no excuses...

    "there will be no excuses"

You are delusional if you don't think there will be excuses from Pats fans!

Win or lose that is just what they do.

Oh of course but it's smack so you've got to push their buttons a little besides we both understand as non pats fans that there will be no excuses.

However they will have many but thanks anyway.

Gronks already hurt. The roids have been very very good and very very bad to him.

I'm interested if the NE* media will circle the wagons to defend Garoppolo if and when they have a loss like they do for Brady, I.e., he had no weapons, wr drops, poor defense, etc.

Or, in deference to Brady, will they lament his absence and throw Garoppolo under the bus with comments that they surely would of had a fighting chance if only Brady were playing.

Who does the NE* media root for? The team or Brady? Decisions, decisions...

I think ne wins. Az is a very hyped team. That always makes me beleive they will fall flat

Not saying that NE will lose and that you're wrong on that part of your prediction. But, it isn't as if the Cardinals are an unknown commodity type of hyped team such as the Raiders and Jaguars. They've already proven themselves to be a very good team over the last few years and haven't really lost THAT much to think they're nothing but hype now. They may have fallen flat on their face in the NFC Championship game, but it doesn't change the fact that they won their division and had the 2nd best record in the NFL.

And as I said, it wasn't like they came from nowhere last year, either. Many people had them over the Seahawks in that division before the season. The hype didn't get to them last year, so why should it this year with pretty much the same impact players returning?

Not to mention that they are playing very well in what may be the toughest division in football.

The cards are definitely for real! With Bruce Arians as coach and Larry Fitzgeralds leadership, guys like Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Robert Nkemdiche and company are going to be a force.

Also, not to mention (didn't have this complete knowledge during my initial post) that they only lost one real helpful player. It makes them a bit thinner at corner. But, other than that they drafted Robert, who looks good, stole Chandler Jones from the Pats, and signed Evan Mathis. So, I'd argue that they got even better this off season.

I think the Pats D will keep it close. Record wise, they're in 1st place in AFC East win, lose or draw tonight.

Best of the AFC East, is like being the geriatric with the fastest 40 time in the nursing home.

Yeah. When was the last time the AFC east was actually good? Nothing to be proud about.
