i will admit, the broncos are a pretty good team overall when they can get their running game going. this is going to be a dog fight, it won't be easy, but the broncos are going to lose again to the more well rounded team

the chargers, with the new players they have accumulated this season, have improved across the board (except for the return game) and are now a top 10 defense in terms of rushing the passer as well as improved tremendously in run defense, something they haven't had since they were going to the playoffs regularly.

the offense will struggle at times again i'm sure but i am confident our defense will play better against your offense than vise versa.

this time there will be no CP bet, i will CP all the good broncos regulars here win or lose, it's going to be a great game and i feel this game is more important to the chargers than it is to the broncos due to records, another reason why they will win.

one more thing, when the chargers win this game, they may as well punch their ticket to the playoffs because the schedule is pretty easy from here on out, compared to the broncos remaining schedule at least.

The only difference between the first meeting and this meeting is the Broncos are actually going to have their coach on the sideline this time.

lets see if that makes a difference.

the chargers have more injuries too. they lost another player for the season (DT Caraun Reid) and hunter henry is now in concussion protocol. the broncos definitly have a better chance of winning this one but i just think the chargers have their confidence and are capable of beating anybody, they just have to take care of the football, that's it.

Broncos are a different team on the road.
Super Bowl Wins: Brady - 6 Elway - 2 Manning - 2 (played well in none and took HGH)

I'm not too worried about this game Baph. The main reason why, you guys caught us sleeping last time. We were on a short week, without our head coach we had to travel (unlike you at home) which cuts down to our practice time even more than a short week would. (none of this is really excuses, just observations as to why things won't play out the same this time around)

This time, we've got our coach, we've had weeks to get healthy, we are coming off a big win instead of a crushing loss so our mindset is going to be better.

Our o-line has had a chance to get healthy (and more importantly our QB is more healthy and should be able to throw a wider range of passes than his first outing vs the chargers)

                We've got this one Baph.

Baphs I'm glad the season has turned around for you. If it did not we would not get the gem you just wrote.

I know I am just a homer but I like our chances at home with our head coach/play caller back. Our starting Qb with a week to work with his receivers, and also our home crowd (another 25k fans)
I also remember your offense having two long drives in the first half of our matchup that ate up clock and gave you a 10 -0 lead. After that Denver figured out your offense. Phillip will keep it a game until the 4th qrt, but then Denver will run away with it and win. Denver 27 - SD 16

GOOD LUCK playing the real most rounded team in the division and the best defense.

Denver on the Road this year:
                    @ Cincinnati 29-17 win
                    @ Tampa Bay 27-7 win
                    @SD 13-21 -Loss

Wow your right we are horrendous on the road. The one loss we played was on a Thursday night with out our headcoach who is also our offensive play caller. How do you think the Pats would fair if you had to go on the road vs a division rival with no Bellichek and McDaniels?

                      Caraun Rieff may not play???

                      Oh my!

San Diego PD better bump up the man power on the streets of southern cal because you know if he isn't able to go

He's not entirely wrong though...We'd have won that last game at home, I'm pretty positive of it. Now granted, San Diego is Denver of the west, but it's not mile high. It is for sure our second home field, but we are a tough team to beat in mile high.

GImme a break, man. I didn't say Denver was "horrendous" on the road - just "different." You lost to SD as you alluded to. Against Cincy, it was a 17-16 game with 7 minutes left to go in the 4th quarter when Denver finally "woke up." They just didn't look great until the end of the game. As for Tampa Bay...lol.

Well he does have a QB rating of 102.4 but after Sunday he'll most likely be under that pile with a QBR of 67 or less
