Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Where has barph been? Why has he not come in here to defend his lady love Phyllis Rivers?
I could expect this from the pansy fans but barph you have just hit a new low. He has tucked his tail between his legs and ran off!
Come on barph you were supposed to lose. Defending that garbage team of scrubs in San Diego that couldn't bribe a true die hard football fan to attend their games with a free ticket.

why was it ridiculous exactly? the chargers have nobody healthy on offense except gordon and gates. almost all of what i said in the off season has come true except for the injury bug thats even bad for chargers standards.
your team is damn lucky to be where they are at and i mean that quite literally. the broncos might be the luckiest team of all time and the chargers most unlucky and i realize that the chargers being a terrible organization has something to do with it as well.

over the past 30 years & counting since pat bowlen took over, the broncos are the winningest team in the nfl...have been to 7 super bowls & won 3 in that span...currently in the midst of 5 consecutive division titles & counting but we are lucky?
what's the chuggers have over that time? oh yeah A BIG FAT NOTHING!
yeah that is one hell of a lucky streak we have going

Well the most well rounded team in the division, should have back ups that can step in and play at the same level as the starters...oh wait the Chargers back ups are as good as the starters.
