  • Which HOF RB finalist is getting in this year?

    LT? TD? both?

i know most of you feel TD should be in, no need to rehash those arguments. but do you think he will finally make it? or will he watch as LT gets the nod the first time he is eligible?

Since the poll is about who will get in, I'll say LT. If it were asking who should get in, the answer should clearly be both.

Agree. Both should definitely be in. Unfortunately though, I believe TD will once again be snubbed for the 5th or 6th time.

Well we all know that Terrel Davis should be inducted but we also know that LT will be a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Unfortunately being a first ballot Hall of Famer is a lot more important than having a league MVP, two Super Bowl victories plus the Super Bowl MVP under your belt.

LT for sure. TD didn't have the longevity in my view.

That's funny, they hadn't even played an official down and already have a first ballot HOF!

there are thousands of SB champions RB's and only a handful of first ballet HOF'ers. the HOF is not and should not be based on how many SB teams you were on, unless you are a QB then it has some validity IMO.

it should be judged on how good you were over your entire career and the real unfortunate thing is davis' career was cut short, that is obviously why he hasn't gotten but in so far but i'm sure he will eventually.

I actually think both will make it this year. I think LT is First Ballot worthy and TD being on the NFL network seems to have given him a boost with the committee. I know its rare that 2 players from the same position make it, but with the amount of times he's been a finalist I think they'll put him in.

Would have been fun if they both came in the league and played full careers at the same time. Would have been some battles over the years on who's on top!!

Yeah, he should get in eventually. He played 78 regular season games and 10 playoff games. He put up some of the best playoff numbers you'll see for a running back. Sayers played 68 regular season games, and no playoff games. The voters in the past set a precedent with Sayers.

Right on. It's a shame that media exposure has so much to do with this. It's also a shame that these guys hold grudges against players like Chris Carter and Terrell Owens.

That's alright, Tomlinson got watching out of his system when he watched Davis get two Super Bowl rings before he got to the NFL and then watched his teammates play in big playoff games while he sat on the bench by himself pouting.

Terrell davis' numbers don't seem to be there. He only had 4 good seasons.
