he talks smack on the field and gets fired up, plays with a lot of emotion. eli on the other hand is just a statue devoid of emotion until he gets benched of course!
he doesn't have the leadership qualities that rivers posses, nor has he performed better at his position over the years.

I'm sure Rivers is a great guy, and by all accounts he likely is. Regardless that wasn't my statement.
The statement was Rivers has always been a tantrum throwing head case.........to which I amended my statement to say he has reeled in the tantrums. He's still the emotional wreck that Baph ironically made fun of Eli for.

Rivers is a tremendous person. 11 kids with the same woman, which is unheard of for an athlete lol (I see you Cromartie!)
Eli being benched would've been the right move if Geno Smith and Player C were the future. Geno clearly sucks. The Giants should've known that since he's played his entire career in NYC. I hear the other guy is not that good either.
Now if only the Chiefs could start Mahomes on the 10th... Is Vinny Testaverde still on Dallas?
