Big Trouble in Little Soccer Stadium

i smack my own team all the time, even when they are superior to your team like they are right now. as far as respect goes, i couldn't care less but most broncos fans are front running band wagon jumpers anyways who don't deserve respect in my book.

how come so many no shows at home this season? you want to talk about respect? the small amount of chargers fans left are more hardcore and deserve more respect than most of you donkey fans who lost your mind and stopped caring after one bad season

most of you don't have what it takes to be true die hard fans and thus deserve no respect.

Since you asked, I attended one game this year. As a first-generation U.S. citizen and Chicago resident; someone with zero ties to either city, Den or their opponent, one of the aspects I find to be glorious is when we all stand for our National Anthem just before kickoff. When I saw players (IMO) disrespect my country's flag, I got this weird feeling that the one thing bonding me to others in the stadium was being threatened thus making me feel like an outsider in a crowded stadium. Since then, I decided never to put myself in that position, again.

I still enjoy the Broncos, but I'm OK with not being a die-hard fan like you suggest.

the thing is they won't be able to tell in OTA's or even TC because there is no pressure other than competition among kickers trying out for the job.

He's been so mentally broke that they'll be able to tell. And as I previously said, if they're serious about it they'll have him doing some heavy duty time with a sports psychologist, that person would also be able to give them into a glimpse of his psyche.

i'm not sure how if he is just blasting kicks through the uprights in practice. i get what you're saying about the sports psychologist, that's not a new concept. us chargers fans thought the same about nate kaeding and if it were that easy he would have been fixed, instead dude retired.

my question is, if the pressure of the regular season is too much form him to handle, what's going to happen if the chargers make the playoffs? there isn't a psychologist in the world that will reassure me that he will be okay, he needs to prove it somehow.

like i said, the only way you give that guy a roster spot is if you have insurance on the PS. even then, is it worth it? i don't think it is unless the chargers can't find anything better which would be a shame.

my guess is he doesn't make the final 53 next season.

It's a futures contract, there's literally no down side to giving him that. You bring him in, have him kick against a rookie, or free agent and go from there. If he's terrible you cut him, nothing lost. If he's good, it's found money.

It's a futures contract, there's literally no down side to giving him that. You bring him in, have him kick against a rookie, or free agent and go from there. If he's terrible you cut him, nothing lost. If he's good, it's found money.

i get that logic but my argument is....how can you tell? you can't fabricate the pressure from regular season or playoff games, which is the issue with him. even if he looks great in practice, that doesn't mean he will be okay when the pressure is on.
