They're contract entertainers (that are all in the same union). Once the jerseys come off, they can all be friends. Well, except for maybe Vontaze Burfict...he might not be invited to too many shindigs.

Whatever "smack" they're laying down before games is little different from two boxers hurling mud to hype. Then, after they beat the crap out of each other, they can be buddies again.

If I had to guess, I'd say playing in a contract year is the ultimate motivator.
