  • NFL Games Rigged? Even Montana states! Jalen Ramsay Penalized!

Baph where are you? Come check this out. Roger Goodell once again taking heat and now being called out.

Well, well, FREAKING well. The rumors have been true all along.

I can see it now, calls for Rigger Goodell to step down. What happens after that is beyond me, but this is what corruption does to people. I think it's time for a revolution and show these corporate pricks how to run a proper business.

Well, Brats fans. Be happy you got the games rigged for you. It's certainly not gonna last long.

Lot of people calling this fake news lol. If it's on NBC it's real news, no matter what.

Anyways, this just proves how terrible the Pats really are. The NFL rigs these games to where they show how high and mighty the Pats are, but in reality they're a dumpster fire team that's only saved by the Refs each and every time. It's only a matter of time before the people's revolution comes and the NFL becomes publicly owned.

Fake news. If you really want to know what happened, read the new tell all book about how the Doncos will never win another SuperBowl without Peyton Manning.

Games benched for cheating.... Tom Brady = 4 Peyton Manning = 0
Accept it or seek therapy !

Aren't you a little too old to have a man crush on another man?

It's cool if you're gay, twelve or a girl, but I doubt Peyton would find your stalkerish fandom attractive.

There are a lot more credible arguments than this.

Is the NFL an Entertainment Business like the WWE? Back from 5-years ago by yours truly.

              This is old news.

so there are other whinny excuse makers out there besides yourself?

let me reiterate.....if the NFL is rigged then all of your rings are tainted, ALL OF THEM! especially this last one when you know they wanted to get manning a ring so he can retire on top, if you believe the NFL is rigged.

so if that's what you believe then put a huge * next to all of your rings.

so i guess you have come to terms with the fact that your team never earned the title world champs then? it was given to them?

odd that you always want to pull out the trophy smack yet according to you your team was given rings, they never really earned them.

i guess this is why the chargers never won a SB, because the NFL is rigged and the chargers don't generate a lot of viewers.

Sadly I think when Goodell became head honcho he turned the NFL into a money-making machine, e.g., WWF -> WWE.
The NFL should change its name to NFE, National Football Entertainment.

Goodell is a savvy businessman, and storylines sell tickets, ratings, merch, etc.
Isn't it odd that in 2014 NFL commissioner Roger Goodell made $34.1 million?
                      Answer: No

IMO everything since the 2006 Goodell era is for entertainment purposes, NFE.

Roger Goodell received $34.1 million in compensation during the 2014 calendar year, according to a tax filing the NFL league office submitted on Tuesday.

The best one I've seen, is the guy who talks about betting lines and ratings. He goes on about how officials control the outcomes of playoff games to improve the betting lines on ensuing games so more people will bet on both teams. This is basically how oddsmaking works, because the only way they can ever lose money is if a disproportionately high number pick the correct spread. And this is how he explained Philadelphia blowing out MIN as a means of getting people to take NE giving 5 points against PHI. Otherwise, if Philly had won a sloppy game, and Foles sucked, the spread would have to be closer to 10 to get people on Philadelphia, and you'd have to be pretty stupid to put the farm on NE giving 10 in a Super Bowl. Then, he included something about Philadelphia's market size. So that part of his argument wasn't completely outlandish.

He explained NE's success by going back to 9/11 and ratings. He basically said that the NFL created the New England Patriots dynasty in the mold of the old Chicago Bulls dynasty, by turning Brady into the football equivalent of Michael Jordan. Using a team called the Patriots to do this was a win-win following 9/11.

So, even though the guy has absolutely no proof that any of this is even remotely possible, and it doesn't sync up with a lot stuff that has happened since 2001, he at least has a somewhat logical thesis for it. A lot of these guys are either in satire mode, lazy, or just plain stupid (and honestly, the guy I'm talking about isn't exactly a rocket scientist). It wouldn't shock me if the guy who created the vid in this thread is a bored Patriots fan trying to do satire. The production value surpasses anything I've seen a Patriots fan being capable of, though. Just based on the Patriots fans I know, and the Patriots fans in here. Especially the ones in here who went to Harvard.

Baph could probably pull something like this off, but the soundtrack would've been death metal the whole time, and he would've thrown something in there about Drew Brees joining the Illuminati after leaving San Diego.

The whole "the NFL is rigged" is such a stupid argument. If the NFL were rigged how many people would have to keep that secret? There would be stories everywhere about it. People would be looking to cash in by selling the stories. Add to that because there's betting involved, if the NFL were fixed, and they didn't disclose that upfront, the people in charge would be looking at some very serious charges and very long jail sentences. And of course the NFL would be gone tomorrow. Completely wiped out. Not only would their be no viewership, but all of the owners and the NFL brass would have all of their wealth taken away based not he class action lawsuits filed by anyone who ever made a bet on any game.

But lets not let facts get in the way of wild conspiracy theories...
