what happened last season when the chargers were finally relativity healthy after being decimated for 3 years in a row? everyone is now saying how talented they are all of a sudden, i Wonder why?
because you are a whiner...a crying excuse maker

funny how the broncos were injured in multiple key starting players in 2013, probowl caliber players...we still made it to the SB

didn't see us crying about injuries did you...even after we got our butts beat...would von and the rest made a difference...who knows...but we didn't cry about it for years

that's all we see from you is one excuse after another...all teams get injuries, all teams face depth problems with injuries...good teams overcome and don't crumble

    like the chargers

now suddenly your team beat 7 sub .500 teams and two teams with a winning schedule( never mind one team was missing its star rb that the offense was built around...and the other team had a brain fart and decided to start a incompetent rookie)

AND SUDDENLY YOUR PROCLAIMING A HOT AND DANGEROUS TEAM

Oh "hot and dangerous" has been very thoroughly debunked in another thread.

More like "capable of beating mediocre teams"

bragging about 9-3 down the stretch

the wins down the stretch were against teams with a combined 47-81

the losses 33-15...three teams had a mere 14 less wins then the 9 teams they beat

THE BRONCOS WERE MISSING CLADY ON OFFENSE, OTHER THAN THAT THEY WERE AT FULL STRENGTH GOING INTO THE SUPER BOWL ON OFFENSE, WHICH WAS BY FAR THEIR STRENGTH THAT YEAR CONSIDERING THEY HAD THE BEST OFFENSE IN NFL HISTORY.

you are really trying to compare that to a team that was decimated on both sides of the ball? you are full of crap and king of all hypocrites.

so if a team went 10 wins in a row you're saying they are not a hot team unless there are several great teams they beat along the way?

that is dumb as factually inaccurate.

You beat bad teams, it doesn't suddenly make you a good team. If you can't beat the good teams when you face them, but you beat the bad teams, it doesn't make you hot and dangerous...It makes you mediocre at best, but I guess "Lucky to be over .500" doesn't roll off the tongue for a homer like you as well as "hot and dangerous" does...

Even if you had snuck into the playoffs, you'd have faced the same crappy fate the oh so terrible Bills did and been one and done, because like the Bills, you aren't a good, hot or dangerous team. You can't beat real competition, if you could, you'd have beat the chiefs at least one of the two times and made the playoffs.

That's the difference between you and us. You are content with a mediocre slide into the playoffs and immediate loss. We go after championship so, wins when it counts are a bit more important.

so does only taking one side of the ball reduce your greatest, injury devastated , horrific excuse for losing...I mean did you have 22 guys on offense or 22 guys on defense on IR?

I mean are you that football dumb to not understand how a lopsided game may have been different with von, wolfe, moore, CHJ and vickerson holding down the seattle offense, so the offense wouldn't have to be one dimensional

quit being stupid if you can

Just based o how Von took control of the Super Bowl 2years later.... I imagine it at least would have been closer..

Didn't we have something like 7 starters out on defense in that game? I remember Peyton having to outscore everybody that year. We got lucky, because Brady choked in Denver, as he often does. We drew San Diego in the divisional, which was also lucky, because they suck in the playoffs. Then, our offense finally took a complete dump in the SB. Peyton choked. Our receivers punked out when Seattle started holding and hitting them. Man, that was a nightmare. You're right though, the final score probably would've been different without losing so much on defense. We would've lost anyway, though. I don't like to make injury excuses like Patriots fans do, but that defense was wrecked. Champ was definitely over the hill to boot. Writing was on the wall when he got smoked by that clown on Baltimore the previous year. Don't even remember that guy's name, but it was like go route after go route, and he ran right past him.

I knew it was something Smith. I remember everyone acting like he was some kind of world beater, but he was just fast. Anquan Boldin was their best receiver. He was incredible during that playoff run, and they couldn't replace him.

That one still stings.... that afternoon we saw Champ Bailey literally lose a step, and an awesome season end in unbelievable fashion.

your offense sucked and gave that game away and they were nearly at full strength. tell me, if von miller or derek wolfe was in the game, would manning have still thrown a pick 6? would there still have been a safety at the beginning of the game due to a botched snap? would there have still been a kick return for a TD to start the third quarter?

the broncos defense really didn't play that poorly and they sure as hell outplayed the offense that, again, was nearly at full strength.

to answer your question, yes it does matter that the strength of your offense was healthy aside from clady. the chargers lost numerous starters on both sides of the ball and also lost numerous key players on both sides of the ball in 2016.

defense: both starting corners, the first and second string NT, all three MLB'ers missed time or was out for the season.

offense they were down to their 5th and 6th RB, down to their 4th and 5th WR.

yes it matters and the proof is in the pudding when the very next year people are now talking about how much talent they have all of a sudden and it showed up on the field because they were relativley healthy for once.

it's absolutely amazing that you keep talking about me being an excuse maker when you made an excuse for one dude not benign in a game for the cowboys, that's just mind blowingly hypocritical and idiotic.

your defense outplayed your offense that game and it wasn't even close. your offense choked that game away in a big way and they were at full strength minus clady.
