we are talking about scouts that watch every single snap from every single player in every single game played. you on the other hand simply go to NFL.com and look up a players playoff record, that's it. it's not the same as college scouts who are scouting potential future NFL players, we are talking about guys watching NFL players play and giving them a grade based on their performance in an NFL game.

No I watch football Baphs . The Super Bowl is every teams goal. And the playoffs are how one gets there. I’ve never said Mark Sanchez, Stan Humphries, or Case Keenum are great QBs. But they all at least for one season have played their best to help there teams win, and go far in the playoffs.
John Elway and Manning both had to step back and play a role that best suited their teams resulting in rings. Brady and Montana both did it early in their careers.

For you to say Stan Humphries has nothing to do with the Chargers only AFC Championship shows your low Football IQ.

Phillip Rivers has consistently put up good numbers every year but if it’s not resulting in wins, who cares.
Manning and Marino both put up ridiculous stats in their careers, but those numbers resulted in little postseason success. The years Manning won his defense played a huge part.

clearly the best talent currently on defense in the division and the only offense comparable to the chargers is maybe the chiefs if PM has early success. however, the chiefs defense will not be top 20 this season IMO.

the rest of the division needs to pray for more charger injuries, it's your only hope. JUST SAYING.......

The Chargers might not have the best cornerback duo in the game, they go deeper at the position than any team in the NFL currently. Casey Hayward (96.7 overall grade, and our top cornerback for this season), Desmond King (86.5), Trevor Williams (88.5) and Jason Verrett could all make a starting three rotation anywhere else in the NFL. One will have to be relegated to dime packages though come Week 1. Now they’ve added PFF’s top draftable safety and top five player on our board in James. Good luck to the rest of the AFC West.

Were we looking purely at pressure off the edge, the Chargers would certainly be number one. The combination of Bosa and Ingram at either defensive end position is deadly, and the Chargers saw 151 of their total pressures come from the duo. They were the only team in the NFL to feature two edge defenders who finished the 2017 season with an elite (90.0-plus) PFF grade, and there’s no reason to expect them to slow down much in 2018. The bonus in 2017 was Liuget producing the best year of his career, adding 26 total pressures from the defensive interior.
