  • Raiders vs Broncos, Part CXVIII

    It’s that time again.

In Week 1, both of our QBs threw 3 interceptions. The differences were that Carr did not throw 3 TDs and our defense can’t make up for such horrid QB play.

I saw an inspired first half followed by reality that the Raiders aren’t ready for a 60 minute battle with the Rams of the world. The Beast Mode TD run gave me hope for a competitive fight. The offense seemed to reach the end zone as a habit but couldn’t finish outside of the first drive.

I’m not giving up with this new regime like everyone else is after one game. It’s a process not a game. I didn’t expect much from our defense WITH Mack before he was traded. Now I expect a less.

I‘m not in the business of predicting Raider losses, so I’ll say that if they do win, it’ll be a game winning drive. Hoping for a classic. By the way, Mack had two sacks last year in a loss and 1 sack in a win. I haven’t looked up his pressures, tackles or grades yet.

Raiders 23-20. CP bet for straight up wins.

I dislike Gruden, but he's the better coach.... by miles. That wasn't enough against Ram's talent - it will be against Denver. 31-17.

man, i remember when people argued carr was the best QB in the division. i know its early for mahomes but is carr now the worst? i really like carr as a player but who is he better than in the division? and if you say rivers your opinion is automatically disqualified

as far as the game, it could go either way but since it's in Denver i will go with them.

              24-21 donks.

Jacksonville is an excellent team. Beating NE is certainly not out of the question.

                      He was... in 2016.

It's a toss up now. Unfortunately that toss may get picked off.

Our D is better than yours and can take the ball away or make big plays, but we will probably give up a lot of yards to your TE. We definitely have the edge so you're on, DS, 27-20 Broncos.

And I agree with you on the process but it will take time, and those picks from Chicago -IF they're spent wisely.

It’s going to be a really competitive game and a lot of fun to watch.

Gruden is angry and he’s going to have the Raiders angry but they’re going to face a very similar team on defense yet their anger won’t be enough to beat this Denver team that is playing with an extreme amount of heart.

                            Gruden is 1-9 against Denver.

Gruden's defense is in a world of hurt right now. Their amount of pressures Monday night was only slightly better than the Seahawks, 14.7% vs 12.5% respectively. Keenum was shaky in his first start with the Broncos with 3 INTs but was able to still feed the ball to receivers and get 3 TDs.

Then there is the Denver D vs the Raiders O.

Unless Keenum is abducted by aliens, Denver has this game. :thumb:
