  • Chargers make Vontae Davis Quit.....Literally.

It appears it took Vontae Davis six quarters to figure out he's not onboard with helping the Buffalo Bills. The veteran cornerback allegedly retired during halftime of Sunday's loss to the Chargers.

It appears it took veteran cornerback Vontae Davis six quarters to figure out he's not onboard with helping the Buffalo Bills turn things around this season.

In a highly unusual move, Davis retired during halftime of Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. As in effectively immediately. As in he didn't joing the team on the field for the second half.

Bills coach Sean McDermott acknowledged the development during his postgame news conference.

"He pulled himself out of the game," McDermott said. "He told us he was done."

You would take credit for the Bills being a bad franchise.

It's totally not like the Bills are the Walking Mediocrity of Football and will most certainly forever have that moniker, and that Vonte Davis saw this and decided to run for the hills.

            Still quite funny though.

I agree. The way they tied and then could have won?!?! They aren't quite the Raiders, but getting there!

This is a classless move, and I'm very disappointed in him. I always liked him too

He was drafted by the dolphins under horrible management, traded to the Colts another horrible organization and then signs with the bills.

Not making excuses but I'm sure mentally he has his reasons therefore I cant say that I'm disappointed in him until we know what his situation is.

He quit on his team, just like Eddie Kennison did
