I haven't asserted anything on you...I just think it's a crappy move to act like you are a better fan all because someone didn't want to sit through the game yesterday. It's my biggest pet peeve. What gives you the right to determine someone's fanhood? Questioning the fanhood of others isn't even the same as questioning a head coach that is very clearly underperforming and a team that has started out 2-4 now...

You are probably right...I just can't stand it when people start questioning the fanhood of another. There is never a real good reason for it. I've said all I need to say about it at this point.

I don’t think their bad fans, the same way i dont think questioning fans who buy tickets and don’t show doesn’t make me a bad fan or an elitist.

And for the record I was wrong to call them cowards, that was a crappy move on my part.
Bottom line is buying tickets and not showing up is not helping the Broncos! Please don’t buy tickets if your not gonna go or give them to kids who can’t afford to go, so instead of 66,000 fans who show to support are team it’s 75,000.
We can’t control the moves of the front office, the coaching staff, or the players but we can be the loud 12th man teams have dreaded for years.

Your right Can but I gotta say you realize how 9,000 no shows is viewed by other fan bases, it’s one thing to stink on the field but the fans giving up is the double whammy!!!!

It ain’t a bout rights it’s about being a good fan

Being a good fan has nothing to do with missing a game or two. There are many reasons to miss a game. My father is 81yrs old and has prostate cancer and has missed 5 games since 1961. So he's not a good fan because he didn't show up to 5 games he had tickets to? Give me a break. There's more things to life than attending every game just because you hold tickets. And if you miss a few games that doesn't mean your a bad fan. Quite possibly being a 'good fan' means being objective in good times and bad times. There's nothing wrong with throwing shade at certain areas of the team when it's warranted and you can back it up with facts. But I do agree with you about hindsight is 20/20 etc. Everyone thinks Elway makes all the draft decisions. The fact is he doesn't and he relies on his staff to provide him the necessary information. That being said, he is the GM and gets the blame and/or credit for the draft. The issue is our scouting dept has failed us miserably last few years and Elway is taking the hits for it. So maybe the changes that need to be made are right under his nose... Like Russell to start....

Once again, you can't just give tickets to kids anymore. Do those kids have verified Ticketmaster accounts? Do they have Smartphones? It's very hard to do what you're suggesting. Was much easier when we could print tickets.

We are all good fans!!!!

For any of us to care enough to read each others comments and then comment ourselves, that means we CARE. Thus in my opinion we are all good fans. Now we don't always agree, but one thing we can do is respect each others opinions. I have had my mind changed on many topics on these forums after reading some posts that are backed up with facts. We all want Broncos to win SB or atleast be competitive and in playoffs every year, but not going to happen and we may be in a funk.

Wonder if it starts at top with Ellis and the fact we have no ownership right now. I'm beginning to wonder...

My last points are aimed at trying to steer clear of the "fan" debate, because of my take on how that argument tends to go. I have also stated a number of times that we have some gaps. Not sure one has to "label" a situation exactly the way others do.
