  • Is it rigged?

Is the NFL rigged? Lets think about this. The NFL moved two teams to LA and is struggling to get a fan base to stick there for those teams. Well lookie here.....both teams have a great record this year and are in the playoffs despite moving to a new city without much of a home field advantage to speak of. What if both teams make it to the Super Bowl...a feat that is very difficult to achieve indeed? Is that just coincidence? Could it be it's on purpose? What better way to build a new fan base for these teams. If both of these teams make it for an all LA Super Bowl.....hmmmmm…..I'll have to give the idea serious consideration.

If true, why not move a team like the raiders with a much larger fan base!

It’d be a huge gamble to do such a thing with a team that has little to no fan base.

You could look at a lot of years for signs of rigging really.

The Bus retires in Detroit, his hometown after winning a Superbowl,
The harbaugh Brothers facing each other
For the first time two black coaches faced each other
Manning winning Superbowl 50 then retiring
The comeback and overtime with the Pats/Falcons.

      Etc...

I agree with this. I feel like there are ample reasons to rig that have more weight than this.

Like Ray Lewis and Peyton both winning a ring in their final seasons.

It seems like the L.A. fan bases would be a reason not to put those two teams in.

Manning and Ray Lewis winning the SB their final years, NO winning the SB a few years after Katrina...
Super Bowl Wins: Brady - 6 Elway - 2 Manning - 2 (played well in none and took HGH)

The Broncos greatest offense of all time not in 2013 but 2012 poised to win it all until Ray Lewis announces his retirement!

Well it’s distasteful but since you brought up katrina one could say the same about the Patriots sudden rising after 9/11.

They may not be in New York but it was the word patriotism that was used a lot following.

Yep and the Patriot Act was passed because of 9/11

I don't believe that it's rigged and fake like pro wrestling, but I do believe that officials attempt to influence outcomes sometimes.

The unbelievably one-sided officiating of our 2012 match with the Ravens, and the blackout plus a couple bogus calls against the Niners in SB47 are the best examples of this. I don't recall anything like that or tons of calls going our way in the 2015 playoffs nor SB50 though. If our defense couldn't do the job would the zebras have helped us? Hard to say, and there's really no discernible pattern over the years to say anything for sure.

But wait.... I thought the Doncos defense carried Mannings corpse to the Superbowl. Now you're saying it's rigged?

                        Well you're welcome!!

Games benched for cheating.... Tom Brady = 4 Peyton Manning = 0
Accept it or seek therapy !

I'd be more suspicious in this instance if these teams weren't that good. The fact is they have a lot of great players and coaches that don't require outside "help" to be successful.

Umm the blackout supposedly helped the Niners not the ravens. It was a blowout before the blackout. Niners got back in it after.
