oh so now you want to use pff as a reference after talking smack to me for using it? okay

    elway's pick who was 8 picks before tillery...noah fant - 49.2

not every player hits the ground running, both fant and tillery could break out next year like melvin gordon did after having a bad rookie season.

what are the pff grades for every QB that elway has brought in since manning retired in 2015? ya know? the guys you said were so great at one point or another? or are pff grades only credible when it suits your argument?

you fairweathwers never learn to not embarrass yourselves, huh?

we are tied with the same record LMAO!!!

yes we are pathetic for getting swept by a team as bad as the broncos, it is the low-light of the season for sure, worse than losing to the raiders.

by the way, how come you never eat crow around here? could it be because you are scared to say anything that could come back to haunt you?

i'd rather be wrong 1000 times than be a coward.

they addressed their LB'er depth by bringing in tomas davis and adding more depth through the draft, as well as locking up denzel perryman long term.

they addressed their lack of inside pass rush by drafting jerry tillery in the first round

the chargers already had depth, they just need a big time play maker in the middle of the DL like tillery was in college. if his game translates, that DL will be nasty.

they drafted weddle's true replacement in nas adderley who fits gus bradley's system as a single high safety perfectly. IF his production translates, with james at SS.....that has potential to become the best safety tandem in the NFL in a few years.

I think the odds of tillery and adderley working out as potential pro bowl caliber players is definitely high due to the talent that surrounds them, this defense has elite written all over it.

    Wait, isn't your team 2-4?

You previously stated "the Chargers will be in the hunt"!

The hunt for last place in the AFC West?

don't seem like we that far off in 2019 and have improved greatly in offense with a better qb, much much better oline, better wrs with a year under their belt, a true TE offensive threat

defense a historic one in 2015

the biggest improvement is getting the clueless, VJ and joe woods out of Denver...a and brought in a great defensive coach who has coached some of the best defenses in the game in Fangio with donatell as the DC. we then improved the dbs greatly over 2019...Harris, Kareem, Callahan>>>>>>harris, pacman, roby

we improved greatly over the team that split with you the last three seasons in a row

in fact if your so confident of your teams greatness, and the broncos suckiness, lets say we do a short season sig bet over the bolts sweeping the broncos

if the broncos beat the bolts week five eliminating the charger sweep...you wear a sig of my choice until the season end

if the bolts win the potential sweep is still on until week 13 where a charger win would force me to wear a sig of your choice until seasons end

however if the bolts win week five and broncos week 13 again eliminating the sweep you then wear the sig until season end

in other words your great and vastly better team, has to sweep the broncos for me to wear the sig
but the broncos win either game and you wear it until the end of reg season

too bad bap didn't have the substance in the sack to take this bet

I know the team has had some success without him in the lineup but if he's not even a threat to be there- defenses can compensate with speed where they may have went (or prepared) with power.

The Chargers have a lot of firepower, but Gordons presence is critical if they want to utilize it. Without him there I could see a big let down from what fans expect from this offense.
"some success" without him? you mean undefeated?

the chargers offense is not as good without gordon but they will adjust and i'm pretty confident they will bring someone else into camp to help out, hopefully via trade. because gordon isn't going to get singed, ive known this since the moment the news came out that he wanted a top tier contract or he was going to demand a trade.

the chargers arnt going to pay him money like that, especially considering next years draft is supposed to be full of RB talent for way cheaper. i'd actually be pretty pissed if they sign gorgon to a 13+ per year contract. I would rather them worry about re-signing bosa, rivers, henry, pouncey.....who are all more irreplaceable than a RB, especially bosa. then just draft a decent RB next year in the second or third round.

unfortunately for gordon his position is not a highly valued one. which is why i don't blame him for doing what he's doing because some dumb team will pay him the money he wants, just not the chargers.
