Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

KC or Charred girls will win theWest, and NEVER.DO.ANYTHING in the playoffs,,,,,,,, EVERY. SINGLE.TIME!!!! Denver is the ONLY team in the AFC West that ever has, except the RAIDERS, and 1983 is the last time they put their MONEY where the MOUTH is!! LOLOLOLOLOL! When will the Chefs or Charred Girls EVER do ANYTHING?????
KC won a super bowl back in the NFL’s days of antiquity, Oakland’s success came in the distant past as well but hey at least they did something opposed to just to looking decent on paper.
Modernity: Now that belongs to the Denver Broncos! :thumb:

In fairness to the Raiders, they should've played in a couple SuperBowls past 2000. The Tampa Bay game was a foregone conclusion, to most people it was anyway, but there's nothing you can do about a stupid rule and an official who didn't have the common sense not to enforce it. Truth be told though, Belichick won that SB against the Rams. The Raiders would've probably gotten smoked.
But yeah, I don't know what it is about KC and the Chargers. That year the Chargers went to the SB, you just knew as soon as they played the 49ers or Cowboys, they were going to get obliterated. I remember when they beat the Steelers that year, the Steelers were the better team. That SB was over before it started. Like ours was with the Falcons (Raiders and Chargers fans insert 49ers/Broncos joke here). I think with the Chiefs, they've just never had a good quarterback. They rented old Montana for a couple years, but without that stacked 49ers roster, he wasn't about to win anything. Mahomes might be able to change all of that, but I do get a Marino vibe from him.
But why would the broncos need a 3rd down specialist when they got lindsay? I thought he was going to be a “full time” every down back this year?
Broncos seem desperate to get help on third down, even though I was told by the donko fans that Lindsay is the total package.......
Wrong again.
Desperate? Really? Could it be that the Broncos think options are good especially if it enhances the chance to convert on 3rd down, as in move the chains.

Cutting Hunt last year probably cost KC the Super Bowl - granted, they didn’t know it at the time, but they certainly knew it would hurt. It’s unfortunate Cleveland was able to pick him up with hardly a protest uttered.
The problem for KC at this point is that repeating a great season is difficult. Getting to a conference championship, much less the SB can’t be taken for granted.
I’m concerned with the broncos defense sure but then [B{I remind myself of their offense and then I just laugh it off. [/B]
As dumb as that sounds I did chuckle a bit but for different reasons.
I do like how Philis likes to say “we have depth at RB” because I can’t help but think that moron is not helping the situation.
He must not really want a ring because he knows without Gordon, his offense will struggle all the more (especially against Denver). Now most of us really like Eckler, he’s a Colorado guy from western State in Gunnison but he’s no Melvin Gordon.
Now If Philis wants to be mentioned In the same Class as his draft mates Eli and Big Ben, then he’d better do all he can to get Gordon into camp even if takes a pay cut himself.
The AFC West is going to be a blood bath division this year and you’d better have your entire stable bowed up and ready to go otherwise you’ll be out of it before it even begins and right now that is where Philis and his dumb mouth are at!

I was hoping you would say something foolish like that.
Entering 2019 on the final year of his contract, Philip Rivers told us he has no issue playing it out & if it leaves a little more money for Melvin Gordon, he's all for it....
"He's a big part of our team and so we hope to get him back soon"
you're right man, he isn't helping at all!
Gordon wants to be paid like gurley, that is the problem. I'm starting to think he will be back because hes already been offered top 5 elite money and he's turned it down. seems like he wants to be the highest paid back in the league and that's not gonna happen, not from the chargers.
he's good for sure, but the rams are regretting that gurley contract right about now, that hurts gordon because he's also got some injury background as many of you love to point out.
Sorry fellas, the last time I checked the Pats were the defending super bowl champs. They are the team to beat, not just in the AFC, but the entire league. In the AFC, I would say the contenders in order are NE, KC, LAC, Houston, Indy, and Pittsburgh. Cleveland is a wild card because they could beat almost any team but they could also implode.
......makes me wonder why you spend so much time in a 6-10 teams message board
