the afce has been a absolute joke for a long time. the teams in the afcw will bounce back and at least be competitive, unlike the east. heck man, even after brady retires the pats likely hold that weak ass division down, they don't need brady to do that.sigpic

They are equivalent of the Dolphins. The Broncos and Chiefs basically flip flopped in recent years as the only team from that division that can contend for the super bowl. When one of them is contending, the other team is the equivalent of the Bill's. San Diego has been a perennial choke team. Give them the edge over the Jets. Overall, the AFC West has been marginally better than the East.
Since Kubiaks stroke the Broncos have struggled to find their identity. The Chargers have a shaky fanbase and it gets to the players. The Raiders are being mismanaged. Still any one of these 3 teams have shown to have surprise seasons. The East is never competitive and it's not because the Patriots are that good but everyone else is constantly rebuildingLast edited by Joshecalpoly; 10-23-2019, 04:54 PM.

But the afce has been bad a long time, is there a more consistently bad division in the nfl the last decade or more?sigpic

the pansies could be in trouble in about 6 weeks because they haven't had any competition at all up to this point & have no idea what it will be like to play in such games...
combined record of the teams they have played so far is 12-32 & if you take buffalo (who nearly beat them) out it's an astonishing 7-31
we shall see what kind of team they actually have in 2 months when after the browns they have ravens, eagles, cowboys, texans & chiefs...i think the lack of competition so far is going to be detrimental to them when these teams roll up on them.sigpic

Since 2000, our winning percentages vs the AFC South, NFC South, and AFC North have been better than our winning percentage against the AFC East.
Division Win - Loss Win Percentage
AFC South 41 - 9 .820
NFC South 17 - 5 .773
AFC North 32 - 10 .762
AFC East 83 - 29 .741

AFC West 31 - 16 .660
2013-2018
AFC East non divisional wins 128
AFV West non divisional wins 132
By the way your 9 and 7 against us since Brady started by your logic we are a better teamLast edited by Joshecalpoly; 10-24-2019, 08:13 AM.
