I don’t think we need to criticize a defensive unit that dominates for 95 percent of the game while their offense struggles for 95 percent of the game.

Perhaps he doesn’t make that tackle out of fear of drawing a roughing the passer call.

We’ve lost two games this season on two very bad roughing the passer calls already.

Derek Wolfe made a good point after the game, he said in 2015 they won a lot of games like this because they made stops and this year they were barley missing them.
I think we deserve to be 2-6 but the team has been in games and we are close to being a 5-3 team. That’s the hope I have is we can build off that and by the end of the year star winning some of these close games.
Some posters are comparing us to Miami and that’s a joke, our team is competing, the next step is closing games out.

Now I’m not going to criticize Elway here however you can’t take the best power blocking offensive line architect in the league and then give him a zone blocking rookie offensive coordinator to work with. They are two completely different styles that require different types of players.

It’s just not smart and good things are not going to happen. To make matters worse they put a statue of a quarterback in there. It’s almost as if the front office was deliberately trying to set them up to fail.

Maybe it’s johns attempt to get rid of Eliss but I don’t know how and I’m still trying to figure out how it is going to work!

I’m crazy and I actually think we are a few plays from being 5-3. And that’s with our offense not contributing. Scangerello hopefully responds to Flacco’s criticism.

Maybe but Flacco does limit Scangarellos play book with his Immobility. There is a reason for everything and hopefully in this case it is more due to Flacco’s immobility than it is Scangarello being afraid.

At least this way there’s hope for Lock and Allen. However I still believe Scangarello is far from where we need him to be as a reacting play caller.

no, im assigning blame where it goes

the defense is very good since week four...no doubt the reason we have the two wins we do have, the reason we aint getting blowed out every week

but at the end of the game we had a lead, we had the colts pinned at their 10, with one TO needing at least 60 yards...stop them we win

you keep crying about hypothetical points...sure if we scored 56 points a game our defense wouldn't have to stop any body

but the fact remains...with 1:41 on the clock Denver had the colts pinned down with 1 TO and needing to drive the field to win

and the defense allowed it...for the third time this season

All the offense had to do was score 16 pts and we get the win. This is on them, and Scange with his huge learning curve needs to go figure things out somewhere else.

The first seven games were basically seven large books of do's and don'ts for Scange to absorb and I understand there's a learning curve but come on.

I wonder if he studies films of the other 31 NFL teams to LEARN and pick up a few tips and apply to the Broncos offensive game plan.

I realize Flacco is not by any means a Russell Wilson but there has to be some plays he can execute that are well above elementary level even with the weak offensive line.
