      Some possible answers:

-They will come forward in the future.

-They weren't aware of the cheating occurring.

-That was NE's specific cover for that week.

You don't find the timing- convenient, at all?

NE needs the number 1 seed.

Belicheat knows the importance of a home game,
      especially in the playoffs.

And, the Patriots are hanging by a thread.

      Nothing?

        Do you see it now?
No, at the time, how did he know he was going to get suspended even though there was nothing directly connecting him to the ball boys? He may have done things differently in hindsight

So a team wouldn't notice a patriots guy filming their sidelines in a press box full of 30 people? LOL

Yeah, like not cheat or better yet inform the league of your ball issue.

The NFL wants and encourages TDs because it's exciting to watch
Mick Vick run for a 35 yard TD or laser it deep to DeSean Jackson for a TD.

The NFL would have gladly resolved Brady's issue seeing as he's the
*GOAT and the NFL is a for-profit business.

Hypothetically speaking, if you cheated on your partner and
s/he wanted to see the damaging texts, would you destroy your phone?

              Brady certainly would.

Knowing the Patriots' determination to win regardless of lost draft picks,
millions of dollars spent on fines, and both public and private ridicule,
they probably rented a box at each game using a proxy or had ties to
a person with access to a box.

This documentary nonsense was the best story Belicheat could manufacture.

But, kudos, your team could end up with another Lombardi that some
              validate it with an asterisk.

It's your opinion he cheated. It's my opinion he didn't (as well as many respectable people around the NFL like Peter King). And as usual, you make assumptions. You are assuming Brady didn't notify the league. It's clear from the texts that Brady's ballboys tried to get the referees to comply with league rules and they didn't. And it's also clear the NFL didn't care about air pressure in footballs until deflategate. And again, you are myopic about the phone issue. Was it a bad decision to dispose of it? Sure, but the league had all the texts from Brady to his ballboys from the ballboys' phones. And the league had from AT&T a list of all of Brady's texts to the ballboys that were sent from his phone and everything matched up. And the league could have asked for the phones of Brady's teammates like Edelman or Gronk to get all of Brady's texts if they really thought he was cheating. But they chose not to - wouldn't it have helped their case to get Gronk's phone and definitely prove that Brady ordered the deflation of footballs? Of course - any good investigator would have done so.
