Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Of the eight Corners in TC, it seems that the one Fangio considered least suitable for his defense was Isaac Yiadom. That leaves seven and six of them will most likely make the roster. Sounds like Duke Dawson will be odd man out. The depth will include two rookies, so we'll need to see how it plays out. With no public practices/scrimmages and no preseason games it is difficult for fans to get an idea of how the players look on the field.
Elway brings the players in and Fangio weeds them out, as it should be.
Hopefully the next guy to go will be Garret Bolles, even if we have to go to the CFL to get another tackle. Hell Bolles should be cut just for using the ridiculous term “GB mode”. Smh!
1. the idea you sit a rookie to learn rather than throwing a rook that isnt really ready out there, id say that depends on the mental make up of the qb, if they have it they will struggle but learn, if they dont they will crumble
2. throw them in the fire and let them learn on the job, you see what type of qb you have year one
with no pre-season I'm just not a fan with throwing a rookie QB out there. herbert has things to work on, he isn't close to ready IMO.
Of the 6 QBs taken #1 overall over the last 15 years, who also started week one as a rookie, zero of them have won their first game (0-5-1).
adding to that the fact that there was no pre-season and a chargers defense, even without derwin, is top 10 quality. it would seem like the lock of the week to me.........IF I didn't know better. chargers always gonna charger. these are the type of games they always seem to lose, the ones they should definitely win.
still, I got 17-10 chargers in a sloppy defensive battle.
the rest of the division I think will go like this......
Texans 24 chiefs 34 Reid is the second-best coach in the NFL and will have his team ready. this will be a close game until the 4th when the chiefs start to pull away.
Titans 20 donks 21 I think this game will be somewhat similar to the chargers game except it will be closer. I think these teams are pretty even but the donks will pull it off.
RAturds 24 pathers 17 gonna be another sloppy game. I'm not big on Carolina this year, they are gonna suck.
there you have it! the AFCW is gonna go undefeated this week and all the team's fans will have delusions of grandeur.
Broncos 14-2(drew lock ve ones the third consecutive second year qb to win mvp
Cheifs 10-6 cheifs offense is still terrifying and probably better then last year
Raiders 9-7 they are upgrading should be a borderline playoff team depending if there defense looks better
Chargers 2-14 Taylor starts half has no explosion to the offense. Losing James really hurts the defense and Herbert looks like a rookie but gets there 2 wins and looks like he could be the future of the team.
The game really isn't that close but the chargers score a late garbage time TD. The chargers defense and running game plays well but not good enough at the QB position to keep up with mahomes and the potent KC offense.
broncos 17
steelers 24
sutton is back which should be a big boost for the broncos offense but the broncos will be without lindsay and Gordon is going to have his hands full running against that steelers run defense. this is the game for lock and the passing game to shine, if they have it in them.
saints 38
raiders 27
a shootout that will not fare well for the raiders. the saints are going to be a real handful for the raiders defense that doesn't seem very good. the game could be even more lopsided than im predicting but since it's in LV and the first game at the "death star", I think it will be somewhat competative.

They’ve got the 2 losses taken care of - now Denver can focus on winning games....
