  • Kansas City Chiefs=Easiest schedule in the league.

You guys should be proud of your chiefs on beating up the most sub-par teams in the league. You've only played 2 teams that have above .500 records. Denver, which you barely won, and Baltimore, which you've barely won. And what even makes me more sick is that on the rest of your schedule you only have 2 teams that have winning records right now. Keep thinking your chiefs are stellar, because when the playoffs come, you're not going to be able to cruise by beating the Texans.

    See you in December.

Well Baltimore, you didnt BARELY lose... you lost by 20. we won by a TD.

    Chiefs > Donkos.

8-0 is stellar. If the Donkos were 8-0 you would be jumping with glee, regardless how close some of the games were.

For the last time, with the exception of Denver playing Indy and KC playing Houston, Denver and KC has almost the exact same schedule! I've never seen a bigger collection of biches than I've seen on this board crying over the schedule and officiating.

And let me explain something to you about the record of our opponents. Part of the reason our opponents combined record is lower than most is because WE'RE 8-0 AGAINST OUR OPPONENTS!!! If we were only a .500 team like most everybody else in the league then our opponents would have 4 mores wins and 4 less losses, making the schedule look tougher. But no, we've won every game, kicked some a$$ in half of them, and that is why our schedule looks so easy...because we've made it look easy. Sluts....

        Who's had it easiest?

Play with the schedule all you like, but you have to deal with who you play. If you want to talk easy schedules to date, look at it this way:

During Kansas City's 8-0 start they have played (at the time of the game with the Chiefs): 5 teams with winning records (Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Green Bay and Denver); two games against .500 teams (Texans & Chargers); and one game against a team with a losing record (Raiders)

Denver has played 2 games against teams with winning records at the time (Kansas City & Minnesota), three games against .500 teams (Cincinnati, Raiders, Ravens) and three games against teams with losing records (Chargers, Lions, Steelers).

So you can throw stats about easy schedules around, but the fact is the schedules are pretty similar throughout the course of a 16-game season; injuries play a major role (who wouldn't prefer to play Minnesota if Randy Moss is hurt) or Denver without a 1 or 2 QB); and timing is everything (Cincinnati is looking much tougher now than early in the season, etc).

So don't worry about the schedule as it takes care of itself over time and certainly don't disrespect a team just because it beats every team it plays.
Despite all the hype, once you finally get a hammer, you don't hammer nearly as much as you think you will.

that's right we get cincy, cleveland, minnesota, chicago, detroit, san diego, oakland. the funny thing is it sounds very similar to the broncos schedule. sure they might have already played some of those teams. wait a minute.... are you saying that these teams are pushovers?? perhaps those wins denver's record indicate their weak schedule thus far. KC will play them, Denver already has. You make very good points here. Nice work.
The NFL 2005 season... The season the NFL finally changed the rule around cut-blocking. Now will Denver actually play nice?

Bottom line Donkeys..... if you had the same schedule, and were 8-0, then you would not be saying a thing! Bring up out weak schedule all you want............. you got your ass handed to you by one of our weak opponents at the same place we played them!
            LET'S GO CHIEFS!!!

Bottom line, if you want to talk about the broncos schedule, why don't you start your own thread. The Chiefs schedule is easy, and nobody can deny that. I just want to see you guys play a good team, so you can realize just how normal your team is to the other good teams in the league, because I'd bet money you couldn't beat the Colts, Titans, Vikings, and sure as hell couldn't beat a healthy Broncos Team.

First off, you were tied with the Raven in the 4th quarter until your lucky ass player Dante Hall return a kick, so I don't really see how you can say that they were one of your weak opponents. And secondly, if you had your third stringer, Jonathon "who the hell is this guy" Quinn, in you probably wouldn't of won that game either. You don't hear us calling you out in your close game to the Raiders when we dominated them the whole game. Get your facts straight kid.

I think the Broncos and Chiefs have about the same difficulty schedule.

The Chiefs are 8-0, but not without some luck. But luck is just preparation meeting oppurtunity, so Congrats to the chiefs on being prepared to take your shots when you had them. (Thank Vermeil for that). All in all, I think the Chiefs will probably end up with Home Field advantage, barring some unforeseen injury/setback, and we will be forced to play for a wildcard. Thats the crappy thing about having four divisions and only 6 playoff spots. It guarantees one of four teams in one of the crappiest divisions at least one playoff spot.

That is so funny. We might have beaten the easiest teams in the league, and guess what? The Bronco's are among those teams. But if you check schedules, the Chiefs and Bronco's have similar strength of schedule, altho the Chiefs are 8-0 and the donkeys are 5-4? Make another smart statement, but until your team can win, noone can take you seriously.

I love the backhanded luck card being played again by a Bronco fan. Thank Vermeil for that? Yeah...he's our head coach. He's supposed to prepare his team so what is the freakin' reference to him all about anyway? No team gets to 8-0 on luck. Maybe I should congratulate Denver for managing to stay above .500...but not without some luck.

Broncos were healthy when we beat them Ace! Buffalo only had the 3rd ranked D when we shredded them the other night. Baltimore leads their division and we beat them. You lost by 20. If you want to call Denver a good team then we beat another good team. Beat Green Bay at Lambeau when we were down by 17. You know how often that happens? Green Bay was 58-0 when leading by Double digits in the 4th. Vikings now look pretty ordinary at home wouldn't you say? I live in Nashville so I know the Titans as well as any team. Chiefs can beat them. So don't tell us about playing good teams. Most of the teams we played had .500 or better record at the time we played them. If they lose to us that's our fault somehow that their record is worse? Denver logic again...LOL!

                          schedule doesn't matter

I am a Bronco fan, but face it. Kansas City has been the better team. Unfortunately, Dante Hall won't bail out the Chefs when they come to our house and our injuries will be minimal. Jake will be back and a strong end to a disappointing mid-season will be the primary focus for our success. Don't fret CHEFS fans. One day you too will see Tony Gonzalez come to Denver to get HIS super bowl ring, just like Neil Smith. I can say this, at least my 'DONKEYS' have won a Super Bowl since I have been alive, how many CHEF fans can say that. If the CHEFS go all the way, then I hope they represent the AFC well, unlike those Chokeland Traitors (Broncos fans were going for the Buccs anyway).

You need to face the truth that you are in a vast minority by saying Chiefs have a better team this year. I see more Bronco fan posts about Chiefs being lucky...Chiefs play weak schedule...If Denver were healthy, etc...I don't know why so many of you say "Dante Hall won't bail you out". Did he bail us out against Buffalo?...Oakland?...San Diego?...Green Bay? Wow! We won as many games without a Dante return as with. Most Bronco fans also said they would win at least one of the last 3 games...BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! So don't take offense if I find your predictive powers less than impressive. I will agree with you on Chokeland. I too rooted against AFC because I cannot support the Faiders...EVER!!!!

                              records do speak for themselves

I admit I am not selling any predictions over the internet, however as a fan of the Broncos and the memory of a 12-0 start. I know that soon you will feel the heat and every game will start meaning more and more. Until the CHEFS are completely in the drivers seat, I would be more humble if I were you. Besides, we play extremely well in Arrowhead. You and I both know that the I-70 is the road to the super bowl. Maybe I should give into your intutive thought process and consider joining the darkside, but no way. You will see that when your CHEFS fall in January, you were on the wrong wagon to begin with. Trentrina will be like Warner and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I have been a broncos fan forever, even when some dude camped out on a billboard. Trust me I wouldn't venture into KC knowing that CHEF fans would try running me off the road like Lightning Neil. That just shows the consitant disappointment your team has been with all the frustration they cause. You have a right to gloat, but your Bandwagon can only go so far. Break out your stone tablet to see the last time THE CHEFS won a championship. I think the Indians drew on the walls in some cave to remember those "glory days".
