Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

and that would leave the Broncos exactly where? I think Denver, Indy, Miami , Patriots, among contending teams might have something to say about that. Indy already tore the Titans up once this year.

Both teams Suck BAD! its really funny is that neither team will probaly get a wildcard. Don't understand why everyone is envious of the Chiefs success this year!
You don't understand why we don't like it?!! It's the AFC West rivalry! Most Chief fans hate the Broncos and the Raiders, most Bronco fans hate the Chiefs and the Raiders, and most Raider fans hate the Broncos and the Chiefs. Therefore, of course we will be cheering against the Chiefs if they do well, because it will make us have to fight for the wildcard.
Trust me, we are not envious. The Chiefs will collapse like they do every year, and when they do, I know a LOT of people in my area who will be eating some crow...
Thanks for the memories, John. We will always remember you.
You look great in Canton! Perhaps I'll get to see you some day...

have those tire track sores healed yet? i guess it's only been a couple of days since the bronco bandwagon ran you over. bought your kearse jersey yet?
The NFL 2005 season... The season the NFL finally changed the rule around cut-blocking. Now will Denver actually play nice?

Oooh! That's right! I want to be a Chief! I want to get to the Playoffs with a very good record, get all my fans' hopes up, and then dash them on the rocks in the first round.
I am VERY envious!

You have got to be kidding. Typical Chefs fan - we're winning so everyone else sucks - oh, okay.
The Titans will probably lock up the first wildcard, even with the loss to Miami. That leaves Miami, Buffalo and Denver competing for the other. Buffalo has a real tough second half and most likely will be 8-8. That leaves just Miami and Denver who will both most likely be 9-7. Before MNF, Denver had the tiebreaker based on div. wins, but I don't know how it will play out in December.
Grin, what I liked most about this post was the ommission of the Chargers.
Yep, they're irrelevant.

elwaymvp(lol)You cant be from Missouri that would be treason. You guys have a long way to go for a wildcard. To talk about overrated Miami,Tenn.,Colts.Enough said and that one and done playoff you talk about ther is a new man in town to get rid of that.

While McNair is an awesome QB, Eddie George is no longer a quality RB. In comparison, the Chiefs have a better RB and TE, while I'd give the nod to the Titans starting WR's and QB. If you cant run the ball, then it makes it more difficult to throw the ball, cuz you dont have to worry about putting 8 in the box. It would be a close game at TN, but if it's at Arrowhead, the Chiefs will win.
Personally, I'd love to see someone like the Fish beat them beforehand. We'd kill Miami.

There's that unwritten rule again! It is treason if I don't cheer for the team in my area. What kind of a fan would I be if I didn't stick with my team, no matter where I lived? Besides, there is another team in Missouri that I can cheer for, so I don't need to cheer for the Chiefs, anyway!
I gave up on the Chiefs a long time ago. Many times they made it to the Playoffs, and every time people said it was their year. Every time people were saying they would easily win the Super Bowl. Every time they lost.
I don't care if the Broncos even make the Playoffs. Of course I want them to go, but I will remain a fan in the good times and the bad. You are just like the many other Chief fans in my area, saying that I live in Missouri, so I have to be a Chief fan. Does that mean that if I moved to Oakland, I should be a Raider fan? Get real.
Thanks for the memories, John. We will always remember you.

That's alright, we got no room for fair-weather fans.
