No excuses, I admit my team sucks and they will continue to suck untill they get healthy. I am a real fan and will tell it how it is. The Denver Broncos suck. THey deserve to lose games like they did against New England. Untill they get healthy again, they have no shot at the playoffs. Now, I still feel KC is overated. I dont think they are a great team by any means. U say 8-0 is great? Well, ask the NY Yankees this year what record means and they are considered a great team. If Denver plays KC without Plummer and are this banged up, your team will destroy us. If in fact that Denver is healthy, I do feel Denver will beat KC fairly easy. I just didnt want anymore KC fans coming in and saying that Denver fans were giving excuses. THere are none from me.

Fair enough. It was quite a tussle in Kansas City against a healthy Denver team, even though the Chiefs didn't play that well. I would expect a tough game in Denver from you even if you're not healthy, though I disagree with you that a healthy Denver team would beat KC fairly easy. We'll see.
That injury to Elam could be a big one. We had a gimpy placekicker last year, and it just puts added stress on the fans not knowing if an extra point is makeable, let alone a field goal inside 40 yards.Despite all the hype, once you finally get a hammer, you don't hammer nearly as much as you think you will.

Yes, Jason going down is bigger than we all think. He is as automatic as they come. Now we have one more thing to think about.
We appear to be in a downward spiral. We Bronco fans are hoping the week off gets us back on track.
Looking forward to the KC rematch and would hate it if there was nothing but wheelchairs and crutches on the Denver sidelines.:usa: *** God Bless Our Military Men And Women*** :usa:

Without your game??
Denver plainly outplayed KC in that game from beginning to end, the officials and Deltha kept it close for you!
That being said, NO a healthy Denver team would not "kill" the Chefs in Denver, beat them possibly, but certainly not kill.
It doesn't matter now, losing to the Pats ended Denvers post-season hopes. I blame this on Plummer and his couch, punting to Dante Hall, the training staff, Gardner and his fighting habits.....
Too many injuries and just purely bad-luck events have killed Denvers season. IT IS OVER. Time to think draft boys and girls! And we better draft a DB!!!Last edited by Peanut; 01-23-2020, 01:21 PM.Eeerrrrrr.......

I agree with Broncostud. I think Denver clearly outplayed KC the first time also. There were blatant blocks in the back on Halls runback, each time I see the replay (5 times a day) i notice it everytime. This is why I feel that Denver will be able to beat them at home if they were healthy. As it stands, right now, Denver has no shot at all against them.chad c

And a clip that wasn't called on Dante's punt return for a TD GAVE you the win!
Denver DOMINATED K.C. all day!
So ... you don't count 1997 as a Super Bowl season because the broncos illegally wore grease on their jerseys in the 1997 playoffs against the Chiefs. The blatant officiating error that didn't call Plummer for intentionally grounding the ball against KC isn't factored in. Clinton Portis doesn't get credit for his 65-yard TD against KC because our secondary lined up wrong and you took advantage? Elway crossing the line of scrimmage to throw a game winner? Deltha fumbles a punt and we recovered ... are we supposed to just let the ball lay on the ground and politely await the arrival of a Bronco player to fall on it?
Face it: officiating isn't perfect. It all evens out over time, but if you're going to whine about it now, don't ever let me hear you brag about winning Super Bowls because somewhere along the way you benefitted from blown calls. The calls don't always go against the Broncos.Despite all the hype, once you finally get a hammer, you don't hammer nearly as much as you think you will.

Yes ... we lost the statistical battle, but we did manage to win on the scoreboard. I always prefer to win on the scoreboard, although those stats do look nice and shiny on the shelf.

As for the '97 playoff game, I don't recall ever hearing about Denver using grease on their jerseys.
Officiating should be perfect with the use of instant replay, but of course penalties, and non-called penalties are not challengeable. That clip that wasn't called, was so blatant, so visible, so close to Dante Hall that flags should have been flying from everywhere. I'm not saying Denver never benefitted from blown calls...cause they have, but I cannot ever remember them benefitting from a non-called penalty as visble as the one that the Chiefs escaped with!
No need for you to to go on the offensive, I was just pointing out the obvious.

But you neglect to miss the obvious fact that 6-7 Broncos missed Dante down at the 10? That Dante ran all the way back into his own end zone? That one clip should not have made the difference? That Dante made Denver look slow? That Dante burned you before? That if Denver DESERVED the win so much, and that they KICKED KC's butt, that they should have been way ahead in scoring?
Hey. Just pointing out the obvious.
