      Re: LAVA IS RIGHT

They're good because they're doing something not many teams can do in the modern NFL: Playing with the same core of players for the 3rd year in a row with minor adjustments.

You can't buy or trade for team chemistry. Any Broncs fan from 97/98 would tell you that.

Im not applying this to the chiefs/broncos, just pointing that out
Listen ... I'm as die hard of a Chiefs' fan as there is and have nothing to complain about with an 8-0 record. However, I'm not sure Indianapolis, at 7-1, hasn't played better ball, as well as some better teams. Indy has a decent shot at running the table for the rest of the season, which means one or two losses for the Chiefs (a realistic expectation) could put Indy at the top.

At this point, the Chiefs haven't been beaten, so it's hard not to rank them at the top, but Indianapolis has impressed me, as has Tennessee, New England and Denver. The Broncos, I think, have a decent shot at the playoffs if they get reasonably healthty.
Despite all the hype, once you finally get a hammer, you don't hammer nearly as much as you think you will.

to CHAD COLLINS: I agree with u for the most part... except i dont agree that Denver sux. They are are adjusting to a new quarterback and they started the season great. They have a lot of people injured and they are playin like crap, and if they cant keep a team from scorin in the last 30sec. (New England) then they dont deserve to win ur right about that. They still outplayed NE almost the entire game and it sux to give that up in a last second play, but what can u do besides cuss and yell. LOL
