Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

With the Bolts putting a whooping on the Viks, I just might be a little scared of the Bolts (not!) Jake, and most of the starters are going to be back and as long as Shanny can regain some kind of sense in his play calling ( i.e. give Portis the ball) I do belive that we can give the Chargers a good old fashioned AFC West a$$ whoppin...

Now, I really do appreciate and respect your enthusiasm over your team, and I can understand how it must feel to lose 6 out of the last 7 and then upset a team like the Vikings. Congrats, hopefully it's not a fluke. But do you seriously...and I mean really consider this, as a football fan in general....do you seriously think you are going to win out, go 9-7, enter the playoffs, oust Kansas City, Indianapolis, Tennessee, Pittsburgh (yes Pitt lol) and win the Superbowl? Are you crazy!!!! You're not going to the playoffs even at 9-7 wanna know why? Here's why.
Even going 9-7, the chiefs are going at LEAST 9-7 ALREADY, if they lose every one of their remaning games. Now realistically, they'll probably go more like 16-0, at least 14-2, win the division and homefield advantage. So kiss your division chances bye-bye. Now, you probably think you can get a wildcard. WRONG! Denver's going to get one wildcard, and Tennessee/Indy (whichever doesn't win the South) will get the other one. If Denver gets one, and KC wins the division, I really really really doubt that the NFL is going to send 3 teams from the AFC West to the playoffs, that's half of the friggin AFC representatives. Get real. You're 7 games too late. If Flutie had come in earlier and worked his "magic", I'd give you more of a second thought. But the Chargers, sadly, are a team that did too little too late.

ha do i realistically think the chargers will go 9-7 no but if they somehow pull off that miracle... i was figuring they would finish ahead of denver or tied which at this point in the season with the teams i see the donkies losing to we would get the tie breaker... and i am very confident this week... Lots of questions wil be answered this week will jake have some rust on him is Flutie Magic going to continue will mike andersons abscence have a big impact on the game i think it will simply because i think you will pick up 4-5 less first downs without him.... i really dont see the broncos hanging this week simply because we are soooo fired up finally got a home game under our belts and now we got a chip on our shoulders kuz we feel like we should have won alot more games and are out to kick everyones asses
