  • Herbert is OROY

I love how the chargers GM ignored all the outside noise, all the doubters when the chargers drafted herbert. it's nice to know we don't have to worry about the QB position every single year like some other teams out there.

And the Chargers are going to waste the next two years of his career because they picked an unqualified Head Coach. Their HC was working at a Div 3 college 4 years ago, then he spent 3 seasons as a position coach and 1 as a DC and now all of a sudden he's running a team. Add to that one of the first things he said is that he's going to play a big part in designing an offense for Herbert.

Staley may one day be a great head coach, but he's the most unqualified of all of the coaches hired this year, and the Chargers will end up firing him either during the 2022 season or the day after it ends. This looks very similar to the Raiders hiring Dennis Allen. No way this ends well, and we'll see if Herbert is still eager to stay with the Chargers after the disaster they're about to go through.

why wouldn't you design an offense around herbert?

ive seen nothing and have heard nothing but good things about him, especially from the coach of the broncos.

the guy has everything you want in a head coach except years of experience. we will see.

Personally I'm glad to see Herbert have success early. This puts pressure on our new GM to make significant moves to keep up. The next move might not work, but at least it appears he realizes Lock isn't enough to compete.

Well, at least the Broncos hired a proven bust at OC. Right?

The thrill of (perceived) victory, and the (likely) agony of defeat. It sure is going to be interesting in the AFC West in about 10 months.

This forum might turn into an inferno during the 2021 season.
