  • Best QB in the AFCW

Who is the best QB thus far in the AFCW that has the best shot a winning the division? There are 3 AFCW QB’s all sitting in the top 5 for passing yards where Teddy is nowhere to be found, not in the top 10 or even the top 15. That being said we all know that yards is not the only stat one should use to judge a QB. As an example Teddy just beat Hebert. Does that make him the better QB? Or Hebert beat Mahomes, does that make Hebert the better QB?

So, what QB has the best shot at carrying their team to the end and winning the division with only 5 weeks left? What are your predictions and why?

I can see 58Millerbeer salivating and foaming at the mouth but may be afraid to say anything since his team has had trash for QBs for 6 straight seasons and counting.

Oh, and can anyone tell me what this little sign means?

does it mean “go Denver nuggets”

I think it should be changed to “Let’s Go Denver”. “Go Denver” just sounds too vanilla.

When the Broncos close their season out and miss the playoffs this year I can assure you all of dove valley will be chanting “Let’s Go Denver”

      “Lets

I would rank the AFC West Qb's in this order:
        1. Mahomes - MVP & SB champ nuff said

        2. Carr - edges out Herbert because he's been doing it longer. Probably wint be second for long as Herbert improves

        3. Herbert - I will give him the edge based on his physical talent over Bridgewater

        4. Bridgewater - has been steady for us, makes the most out of his talent but wont take over a game due to his playing style and lack of arm talent.

          1. Mahomes
          (big gap)
          2. Herbert
          3. Bridgewater and Carr
          Anyone seen Jake Plummer?

Just based on performance this year so far, specifically against the 2 other main teams in this division that are a threat which Hebert has beat, here are my rankings:

            1. Hebert
            2. Carr
            3. Mahomes
            4. Teddy Bear

Hebert has the most upside and is a very dangerous QB vs both Carr and Mahomes, as well as Teddy Bear. Hebert had an off-game and some unlucky bounces against Denver vs that goofy on and off again defense (along with a crap load of stupid penalties by the bolts). The Broncos and their QB are the lowest threat in the division and the least likely team to win it, specifically because of their crappy offense who needs to get damn lucky to beat anybody and/or the defense has to essentially carry their team to be able to win games.

"Let's " !.....come on now, chant it with me....."Lets Go Denver"..."Lets Go Denver"......

Wow, not even one week away from an ass kicking and you have delusions of grandeur again.
if you remove heberts "off game" then I remove Patrick's off game and that puts Patrick as a super bowl MVP again. Yay!

No delusions here pal. So, what exactly is wrong with Mahomes this year? This is shaping up to be one of his worst seasons. He's had a 100+ passer rating consistently, now he's in the low 90's. He's already tossed 11 ints and there are 5 games to go. Worst year was 12 Ints in 2020. His Avg passing yds has consistently been over 8 but this year he's barely at 7.1 avg. He sucks at home when before he dominated teams at home. I could go on. What gives with Mahomes this year? Is he starting to get washed up? what's your excuse? Is the force no longer with him?

Some people think he is stressed trying to find room for his trophy collection. A more realistic answer is he is leading the division during the worst slump he has ever had.

Good answers, but you mean "He's clinging to the lead in the division" ...with lots of help that is?

I don't know what to tell you San Diego, I'm simply not as worried about it as you.
Maybe you should go back to your elimination charts and draft up some new scenarios?

Nobody is worried about KC in this division except for Denver. Right now it’s a crap shoot between the Raiders, KC, and LAC as to who’s going to take the division. There’s a crap load of games between us to close out the season. The team with the most AFCW wins in the division will most likely take the division. You better not lose to Denver this week. Are you worried?

                          According to what?

One of these teams is not like the others, and everyone else is tied for last.

So your shooting your over your team essentially 1 game up on everyone else? How long is that gonna last? Why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and just come out of the closet already. You think KC and Mahomes is taking this division and leaving everyone else in the dust don’t you? Nobody is rolling over in this division and won’t go down without a fight. Come out of the closet HS and let it out man

It's not as bad as the Sparketts 50+ years of futility (NFL)

                              Dolts
                              10 division titles
                              1 Super Bowl (lost)

Six years with QB problems versus 50+ years of basically nothing to show for their existence. So happy for 50+ years of supporting a team with:

                              Broncos
                              15 division titles
                              8 Super Bowls
                              3 Super Bowl titles
