Many of these VB forums have an option in your Control Panel, that allows for turning of smileys in posts... I just looked again and this one doesn't seem to offer that...

      My bad man... :brick:
there is a thing that offers that...

when you are going to post a new post.......right under the 'Additional Options' thing it says 'Miscellaneous Options'...then it has

      'Show your signature'
      'Automatically parse links in text'
      'Disable smilies in text'

so JR just click the box next to that 'Disable smilies in text' options

We need a smiley that has a person with a sneer, not a bit smile, and he should look like "ya thats right, i said it"

That doesn't disable viewing other people's smilies.

It's more for if you wanted for other people not to see smilies in that particular post. <--If I hadn't selected that option, those would all be smilies.
